Herb is absolutely the worst to deal with. He is rude, acts like he's got a board up his rear. We went in today to try to sell our car that we are no longer driving. The KBB said the vehicle is worth $11,340-15,500. He said they would only give us $9,000. He said that he had to rerun the state inspection and emissions even though we literally just did them two weeks ago. He also claimed there were codes coming up but nothing was showing on the dash. The car is pretty perfect other than needing two front tires, and our mechanic even verified this during the inspection Kim had made copies of all our documentation before we even discussed our deal, and took to me via voicemail that Herb took them home with him. Kim swears up and down that we took them home with us, that we went into his office and did so. We did no such thing! We sat on the couch the whole time other than to go to the bathroom. If they watch their cameras they will see this is untrue. We didn't even go up there to grab the key off Herb, he came to the top of the stairs to hand it to us. After we refused his offer, we started to leave and he chased us down to offer us $9,500. We refused again and went home. read more

Be Advised! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS! Car dealers already have a pretty bad rap. Sometimes there are actually ethical folks but mostly car sales staff garner a bad reputation all on their own. C. Harper Buick is one with an extremely poor reputation. Don't be fooled by the fact that they are Chevy/Buick dealer;their customer service is one of the worst I have encountered. We are in a tough market with a limited amount of inventory. This gives the dealers the upper hand. In my recent dealing with these folks, I was paying their asking PLUS all of their extra fees. Some of these, I later discovered, were actually illegal to pass onto the customer. Nonetheless, at the time, I was prepared to pay all. After "VERY" poor customer service from Dave O'Brien in sales who claimed to sell many vehicles to out of state customers however his performance showed that he really didn't know what he was talking about. I was ready to sign all documents and come get the vehicle which would have required a flight and long Uber ride to get there. At the very last minute, Dave O'Brien and his General Manager Michael Naretto, pulled the plug on the sale by stating that we could not purchase the car unless we used their financing. Now already had a new loan ready to go that was almost 3 points lower than what they offered. This was the last straw and I very happily walked away from this sale which was no deal at all. It made me wonder as well, "Was there something really wrong with this vehicle, after they already lied multiple times throughout the process?". Doing alittle of research, I discovered that what I was told was actually illegal in their fees and processes. They have since been reported to the state attorney general's office. Lastly and as a reminder, these folks are unethical, fraudulent scam artists. I would avoid buying or taking my vehicle there at all costs. If I was the owner, These two, Michael and Dave would be out on the street. read more

I had the worst experience with these guys. I bought a very nice 2019 Outback several months ago for cash. I still have yet to receive my title from them. It's been 3 months. My temp tags have expired and every time I call- they direct me to voicemail and never turn the call. I am now reporting them to the Attorney General. The next morning, the car wouldn't start. There was battery acid leaking all over the battery- clearly, they hadn't even raised the hood. And- none of the repairs they claimed to have done on the car were actually done. I took my car to a Subaru dealership to have it inspected. The brakes had not been done within the past year according to the dealership and they claimed to have replaced all of the pads the week before I bought it. You may not need to worry about doing business with them soon enough. read more

This would be my third time purchasing a vehicle from C. Harper Chevrolet in Belle Vernon. I test drove a 2017 Jeep Renegade in May of 2023. We pulled out onto route 51 and I immediately heard a whistle noise. The sunroof wasn't sealed 100% so wind was whistling through. I mentioned it and the salesman Jimmy Lamb said "oh we will definitely get that fixed for you". I signed the paperwork and Jimmy said "bring it back in 30 days for us to fix that". The next day, the motor on the sunroof dies and I have to manually pull it shut. So now I can't even open the sunroof to override the whistling noise. 30 days later I come back and they keep it for a couple days and turns out they didn't fix the sunroof leak or motor and tell me it'll cost upwards of $8K. So I tell my salesman that service said they can't repair it even though I was reassured it would be fixed. Fast forward to me speaking to the used car manager Joe there and he says "that should have been fixed before you left that day". Fast forward to speaking with said manager Joe a week later and he says "I never said that". I retain an attorney and surprise! They want to fix the issue and cut me a check to fix the sunroof. Well, since the sunroof issue, multiple more issues kept coming up like interior plastic covers coming off, speakers being blown out, and the hood release being broken and not releasing because they left an old part in the engine compartment and broke the hood release cable. So C. Harper agrees to take the Jeep back and give me the money I put down and half of what I paid monthly to the bank. They refused to pay any of what I spent on insurance. My attorney told me this was a good deal. So I go to drop it off today and they give me a check for $1,128.00. Turns out they're putting a majority of the settlement amount towards the bank. The finance manager Osborne at no point in time apologized to me for the piece of shit car they sold me and at no point in time did the general manager walk into Osborne's office to shake my hand or apologize for their lies and deceptive ways, especially the used car manager Joe lying to me even though the phone lines are recorded. Should be noted I did watch the manager walk by at one point with Osborne and he shot a nasty look my way. Their managers are cowards for not saying sorry and I've already told anyone who listen about C. Harper and I've heard plenty of horror stories about them. They will NEVER get my business again. read more

C Harper Cadillac - The part they left behind that damaged the hood and I could never open the hood again after I found this in there - Car Dealers Near Me - Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania

We purchased our vehicle from the dealership back in April 2022. While our salesman was FANTASTIC, the service center is a joke. The car began to squeal Every time we accelerated within days. We took it back within a week TWICE for this. We were told the first time our brakes were bad (why sell me the vehicle with bad brakes??), and the second time were told it was the tires. I ended up taking it to another Chevy dealership and having to have a pip and bracket replaced, which was covered by my warranty. I will NEVER go back for service or suggest it to anyone. Thank you to our salesman for at least making that an easy experience. read more

Wish I read these before I went here. Clearly they do not care about losing customers or having terrible reviews. They have so many. They just burnt me on an oil change for a car I bought two weeks ago by the time I was able to prove I didn't need it they already did it and made me pay for it. $260 for an oil change that I didn't need. Never go here!!! Also found out they chipped my rim! read more

I have purchased all but 3 cars from Charper in the last 20 years! My latest is a BMW that runs like a charm! Bought a new 2018 Trax from C Harper. Bought the extended warranty. Come to find out the extended warranty was the same time as the manufacturer warranty was. So I spent $2,000 for nothing. My car is in garage now with a cracked block and turbo is froze up. And not one light came on. And 2,000 miles over warranty. But they got their kick back for sale of the extended warranty. Never again will I buy from them after 5 cars. read more

What a nightmare! I drove to this dealership from Ohio because the 2019 Ram was exactly what I wanted. They told me that they had trouble with the air suspension but had just taken care of it. They talked me into buying a BUMPER to BUMPER warranty through Liberty Shield. Week 1 I had my service light come on to service air suspension immediately. Called C-Harper up and they told me that they would pay deductible so I could take it to a local shop to have it fixed. Also wanted them to check a whining noise coming from the rear. Long story short it ended up being my differential. Three months later my truck is still at Ram Service dealer, C-Harper stayed engaged long enough to get Liberty Shield to pay for half of the repair and 1 day of rental car that I had for three months and then quit calling me back. Still have unanswered questions like why does their I-Packet say they give a 3mo 3000 mile Powertrain warranty and I am still paying $1400 for repair and $2000 for rental but going into month four of trying to make things right I am done. I will take the loss to get my truck back. Beware if you are thinking of buying a used car from them, they did not care about this customer or stand behind their vehicle. read more

Great experience! Bought my car from Rick Kerns, he was extremely nice and helpful. He gave me a great deal on a brand new car without having to haggle. Very simple and easy process all the way through. Will buy my next car here too! Plus they have free state inspections! read more

Purchased a Chevy Spark, which went easy enough, and received 3 free oil changes with some other things included. I have stopped back to have service done and they really take care of their customers. There was a free car wash and a free state inspection. They are not there to take advantage of their customers, and it makes it a painless experience. read more

Waited four hours for our car to be diagnosed and repaired after breaking down on vacation, they threw a new catalytic converter in (warrantied, thank God, but they're still paid so why would they care), and here we are, broken down on the side of road after our car died the same exact way it did BEFORE they "fixed" the problem. The best part is that we can literally still see the dealership. read more

Wow.. Patrick Pohl never returns or answers phone calls. C Harper should do something about that.. I've called him over 22 times, left many messages,, doesn't answer pages either.. Avoid this salesman at all costs. He must not appreciate his job at all. Absolutely not a person of his word.. doesn't make Casey Harper look good at all. read more

I purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado from Rick Kearns. He and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help us fit within our budget and needs. I would highly recommend Rick K, and C.Harper to all my friends and family. I shopped around before landing here, and I'm glad I ended up stopping here. Great selection, prices, and staff. read more

C Harper took good care of my wife and mother in law today. Due to upcoming cold weather we needed a new battery installed on short notice. I contacted them and they got in done for them. My mother in law has been bringing her car to Dan, one of the service Managers for C Harper, for 7 years or more. We appreciate him taking good care of her! read more

Bought a new Cadillac a few years ago from C. Harper and the thing has been a real lemon. Hoses have fallen off, lost s bolt from the drive shaft, and needed a new rack and pinon steering. Complained about steering noise while car was under warranty and was told it was just the all wheel drive. Now that it is no longer under warranty Harpers wanted $1900 to fix it. Independent mechanic did it for $600 less and said it was ridiculous that it needed done. Filed a complaint with GM again and service manager at Harpers called and said he understood my frustration and would see if he could get partial reimbursement. When I complained to GM about parts falling off they didn't care; they should have bought this car back. read more

This dealership sucks. Typical used car salesman types. They said they'd hold a used car for 24 hours until another family member could look at it and then sold it two hours before we were due back in. read more

We had bought both our previous cars at other dealerships, but had the cars serviced at C Harper, and based on that experience, we knew we would buy a car here when we were ready for a new Cadillac. It was Ryan's birthday on the day we came in, and we decided to make sure he got a sale for his special day. Seriously, he worked very hard to sell us, and went through several different deals before we settled on the Black 2016 SRX. The whole experience was great, start to finish. And you know what? We knew it would be. Thanks Ryan, and C Harper. read more

Received an e-price from their website for a new vehicle and followed with a phone call to make an appointment to purchase the vehicle the following morning. That morning I drove to their dealership to find out that the vehicle never existed and to add to the mystery, that model was deleted from their website and is now showing no inventory for that model new. Why can't new car buying be fun? read more

They are such a joke sit in their waiting room listen to the war stores about the company before buying a car from them, I got two lemons from them since they wouldn't give me back my down payment and first month payment, I'm sure it's not the salesmen, they problem it's the arrogant owners problem and that's a fact. I was told if I found a potential buyer they would help me so I could sell this SUV by using their Financial team. I got a text stating I can no longer use them. If ppl weren't so scared of fighting them they wouldn't be in business. They even were fraudulent between the trade ins on paperwork. To the point they loan company told me to get a lawyer. I did and by the time I went to give them a chance to explain they supposedly worked it out. Shady car lot and ppl that work for them. read more
