It's proximity to the port and the Embassy Suites Hotel means that it gets a influx of tourists as well as locals looking for services, retail, and dining. The Harbor Shops are convenient to other top Ft. Lauderdale destinations like the beach and Las Olas Boulevard. The businesses in the Harbor Shops are arranged in an open air complex with a Key West architectural vibe and nautical theme. Parking is in the center. The plaza is anchored by a Publix. I have been here many times through the years, most recently to eat at Gilbert's 17th Street Grill. Other reasonably priced restaurants here include Joe's Cafe, Indian Harbor, Duffy's, 5 Guys Burgers and Fries, and La Bamba. Shopping choices include TJ Maxx along with boutiques. There is an Ace Hardware Store, Total Wine and More, Massage Envy, Chase Bank, and Orange Theory Fitness. You can run errands and enjoy a meal all in one place. Whether you want a great meal, are a local ticking off your to do list, or are a visitor picking up travel essentials, The Harbor Shops will have just what you need.

This Publix-anchored outdoor, open air mall offers free parking and driving here is easily accessible. It's close to Port Everglades, the Fort Lauderdale Airport, hotels, and other SE 17th street businesses. The mall has a variety of stores and shops. Everything is here from groceries to a hardware store to clothing to wine. It offers service salons where you could get your hair cut or your nails done or even a massage. The mall gets a lot of pre and post cruise business. It's popular, so some times parking can be challenging. I've probably been here the most for the different restaurants -- from burgers to sushi. When I worked nearby and the weather was nice, I'd come for lunch and then stroll by the shops.

During the weekdays there rarely many children playing. Weekends are obviously more crowded but fun for the kids as long as the guardians are supervising their own little ones. There are some new stores, plenty of parking, and it was overall clean when I visited. There's also a movie theater on site, although the mall itself has a bit of an old smell. The food court isn't very big and offers typical mall food like Panda Express, Cuban food, pizza, etc. One downside is that the food court is clearly understaffed. Most spots only had one server, which caused long lines despite the mall being quiet. I was on a lunch break and it took over 25 minutes for food. Some restaurants do offer lunch specials, which is nice for your pockets. I imagine it probably gets busier around the holidays, but if you want a quick, stress-free visit, weekdays are definitely the way to go.

We looked forward to shopping and ending at the Foodcourt- the Sbarro had a huge hot and cold buffet! The last time I was here was in 2014 when they updated the food court and it was fabulous! I've been reading about the new plans and how decrepit it is now. I decided to stop by after Church to see for myself I parked in the Orange Lot and came up the escalator and went right to Macy's! I was extremely impressed with Macy's. A huge beautiful store. Great sales and I actually bought a gorgeous skirt! So as I see the mall it's like having 2 separate malls the half in front of Macy's looks like a full beautiful mall! Today, because it was raining, it was pretty busy! The Apple store was packed! Some great shopping options! Free Parking! Then I went to the other side by the food court and Dillards .., now I understand some of the negative reviews.. Half empty! The H&M is amazing! Huge store! Dillard's is great! The Restaurants ate first class and were very busy! I ate at the Capital Grille. P.F.Chang, Seasons 62 and the Blue Martini' First, I would fire your Development Realtor!
