For our stay at Cinnamon Shore, my sister in law posted about it on social media before our trip and got coupons for 2 complimentary drinks. My husband and I checked this place out before we headed to the Dune pool. The front desk had called and advised Isabelle at the bar to expect us. Isabelle was very helpful and a great host! I was debating between the pina colada and strawberry daiquiri and she suggested the Miami Vice which is a combo of both! Not only did the drink look cool but it also tasted great. I love trying new drinks and will remember this one. My husband had the frozen margarita which he liked. We also found out from Isabelle that there's food delivery available which we hadn't known about. Unfortunately, we were already on our last day there when we found out. I didn't expect the bar to serve food which is good to know for next time.

Service is impeccable! Sydney is a super attentive delight. Food is delicious-- especially for poolside or seaside ordering. Burgers and fries are my boys' favorite. A great feature of Cinnamon Shore North, a huge perk for making beach and pool days easier.

As for the food/drinks, they were solid. They make their sandwiches and then refrigerate them and then panini them when you buy them. I am not usually a fan of coffee shop sandwiches but gave these a chance because they're actually made here. PRISTINE! tasty! My husband loved the chipotle chicken wrap so much that he went back for another one after devouring the first. The only bad thing was that their chai tea base is tooooo sweet. I literally asked them if they use a sweetener, to which they said no. They did acknowledge it was sweet and agreed to give me some hot water to water it down. Overall- very great experience. We will be back next time we are in port aransas.

The atmosphere was fun, the staff was super friendly, and the young crew working there were clearly hustling and doing their best during a very busy rush. That said, the wait times were just too much for me personally. I waited over 30 minutes just to get to the counter, and then another 25 minutes to receive the rest of our order after the drinks came out. My son absolutely loved his mocha Frappuccino and ham & cheese croissant, so that was a win. Unfortunately, as someone who drinks coffee regularly, I wasn't especially impressed with my drink, and my everything bagel came out extremely over-toasted and almost gooey inside. I really don't want to knock the place because it genuinely has a cool vibe and hardworking employees, but the long waits and food quality just made it hard for me to want to come back. If you have patience and don't mind a slower experience, you may enjoy it more than I did. I will say that the breakfast items are super overpriced.

The server was not very attentive- for example, I asked for the added Brussels, bacon and onions as an add on to the tenderloin tips but I never got them. We also waited a while for drinks and we had our order taken about 30ish minutes after we got there, despite the lack of customers. She was very nice but the service was disappointing. The meat quality however, was really great and both dishes pictured were perfectly cooked, totally recommend the little Jane. But the tenderloin tips left much to be desired literally, because it was not much food at all. For 20 dollars, I would like to feel fullish, but it felt more like an appetizer or tapas than a full meal. The other people in my party got a special (the beef stroganoff) and chicken Alfredo, which both were good, not spectacular. The part that was enjoyable about the pasta dishes however, was the fact that they have different pasta specials, so you could get the Alfredo with linguini or the specialty pasta of the day or week (I don't know which). The pineapple mojito was noteworthy as well, fresh and you couldn't taste the alcohol at all. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing but it wasn't a very positive experience, especially for the high bill. Will I ever go again for dinner ? Probably not Will I go for drinks? Absolutely! Order food with drinks? Only out of necessity since most appetizers were 15+ Was it a nice place? Yes! But was it worth it? No

On our most recent visit, the steelhead trout appetizer was rancid. I mentioned this politely. While the new bartender was professional and tried to make it right by offering a replacement appetizer, it never arrived. Our food then took well over an hour to come out. Although I didn't complain, the bartender noticed the delay and comped a round of drinks, which was appreciated. When the meals finally arrived, my wife's grilled chicken was significantly undercooked. She got a full bite of raw chicken. My lamb had good flavor but was inconsistently cooked, with rare pieces despite being ordered well done. On our previous visit, my mother-in-law ordered the crab cakes. Her meal was served about 25 minutes after the rest of the table, and the crab cakes contained almost no crab. She ultimately did not eat her dinner. She brought this to the manager's attention at the time, and no effort was made to correct the issue. This is now two visits in a row where I've watched family members leave without being able to eat their meals. The bartender clearly understands service, but the kitchen execution and management response are where things are breaking down. I'm sharing this in hopes that ownership or management takes a serious look at consistency, food safety, and follow-through. This restaurant used to be much better, and I'd like to see it get back there.
