I had a shed installed in my back garden to use as a studio. I had the highest level of insulation. Just over a year on, some buckling has occurred to the structure and I can see daylight over one of the windows and over the French door. I purchased a 40mm insulated steel shed from C&S Sheds in 2023. C and S sheds advertise their 25mm insulated steel shed as suitable for use as ' utility rooms, hobby rooms or children's playrooms, ie. an extra room to your house. 25mm insulated buildings are widely used for storage of vintage cars and tractors'. Even though I upgraded to 40mm of insulation the items stored in the shed, including wooden items, are covered in mould. It seems to me the shed is not fit for purpose. When I contacted C and S about issues with water coming in through holes in the shed I was informed that someone from C and S sheds in Tullamore would be coming to fix the ongoing problems with this shed on Sept 4, then Sept 5, then the week of Oct 9 and then Oct 13 2023. On Oct 16, 2023 C and S sheds said they would arrange a site visit - this didn't happen and I have had no response to last email. My experience has been that there were no communication issues until I paid for my shed. Once the money was paid C and S sheds policy, in my case , was to ignore, delay and leave the customer with a product not fit for purpose. read more

C&S have left us with a substandard and structurally dangerous structure in our garden. The lack of workmanship is beyond belief. They won't answer the phone or respond to emails. This is going on over 5/6 weeks now. The roof is dipping 35mm in the middle with the lack of structural support, the end wall is also 60mm off level and bowing out due to the weight of the roof and lack of steel supports. The panels are dinted and scratched, Flashing not secured, left off square on the slab, the front wall has 100mm of movement in it if you lean against it. We now have to get another company to finish the shed and make safe for use. Stay away from C&S for your own good. read more
