Had under stairs storage fitted. The doors and fitted shelves are fine, but would have thought that the doors would be flush with the side of the staircase like in the many pictures I had researched on the internet and which I sent as an example of what I wanted it to look like. Instead there is a gap (increasing in size from the bottom of the stairs to the top) where the back side of the stairs (and the grooves of its wood panelling are visible, similar as in pic 55 on this page). It is not visible when coming into hall, but very noticeable when coming from the kitchen. Thought a carpenter would be able to build a fitted storage that will be flush with no gaps, especially for the price paid. Am still trying to figure out how to improve this. Overall the storage looks OK, but expected better. read more
