There was some rot under the old roof which he repaired and the roof looks great! All accomplished on time! As a concerned tenant, I had researched his rep among friends and found that they were all very happy with his company as well. Some spoke of his good pricing and others very happy with their roofs. They also spoke of his honesty. It's good to know so many people who have used his services are also speaking positively of his service!

Ambassador just completed a total house rebuild, renovation, and extension for us following major…read morefire damage, and the result is beautifully done. We chose Ambassador because of their strong online reviews and long-standing reputation as a licensed General Contractor in the Town of Oyster Bay. Gary, the president, impressed us with his firm commitment to getting the job done within our insurance-imposed timeline and budget. Their mid-Long Island showrooms gave us added confidence. We already had our architectural plans ready, and Gary quickly understood exactly what we needed. His team demonstrated military-like execution: decisive, streamlined, and efficient. Professional crews were rotated smoothly, always keeping the site in line with industry standards and town codes. Jeffrey, our project manager, was passionate, resourceful, responsive, and friendly. He met with me as early as 7:00 a.m. whenever needed to review the status, and sent evening photos of the progress. Whenever I had a question, he addressed issues almost immediately with his team. We worked on a basis of deep mutual respect and good faith. Jeffrey even went above and beyond to manage costs to fit our budget. As a brand-named general contractor, Ambassador hires certified professionals for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work. Their masonry and carpentry teams were highly skilled, custom-building everything to look neat and clean. Thanks to their experience, town inspections were all positive, and the final walk-through was incredibly accommodating to ensure we will get our CO smoothly. Overall the result - achieved in a reasonable timeframe and price - was good. I am glad we hired Ambassador, and I am deeply grateful to Gary and Jeffrey for their dedication and help. I highly recommend them to any family looking for a trustworthy, capable contractor.

Can't recommend DiCostanzo Home Improvements enough! Tony the owner is a honest, hard working and…read morediligent man who pays attention to detail. He did my roof in Kings Park and we are damn glad he did, it came out amazing and was done the right way. Tony was the only roofer who explained how he needed to remove some siding and install ice shield up the outside walls and it would take some more time to get it done. Not one other roofer even mentioned they would do this, When I asked Tony he said that's because it's the right way and we take our time to do it right. On the last day when they were almost done (2 day job)Tony did not like the look of some flashing against my brick, it was water tight but according to Tony it was not aesthetically up to his standards. Most roofers would said screw it good enough and leave but he came back the next day and completely re-did it to make it not only look 100% but function 100%. If you need a roof, siding, gutters or windows I highly recommend going with DiCostanzo his price was more Than fair for the quality of the work and attention to detail he brings to the job. We would not hesitate to use him again and we will In a few years for siding and gutters.

He is a stickler for doing things right and his meticulousness gave us great peace of mind. We love how the bathroom looks but really, what we love the most is knowing that, behind the walls, everything is exactly as it should be. Steve, who works with him, is also fantastic. They are a hardworking team and they are respectful of your home. Everyday our home and driveway were left clean so that if you didn't know we were doing work, you'd never guess.
