I have only been here at CM for a few months but I have moved my belongings from 2 different storage units. this unit has been the best above the Willits Cougar closets by a long shot. Just the convenience to pay my bill is 5 starts. Everything is clean, well maintained, affordable comparable pricing and staff has been amazing. Its an electric code gated complex. The only down fall I could say is that if I am in the gate after closing hours I have been told I will be locked in until the next morning. But I keep that in mind to make sure that does not happen. read more

Terrible hours, especially in summer months. It's so hot in Ukiah to go into your storage before 6 or 7 pm it is over 100 degrees. The gates lock you in if you aren't out before 8pm. During the hot summer months the storage should allow access till 10pm so you're not baking if you need to get some organizing done or sort through and find something. Then the gate doesn't work properly and locks early so you get locked inside. read more

I used their storage for almost two years and NEVER HAD A PROBLEM! They provided a perfect service and the place was always clean and safe. Locked up tight at night. They also have their tenants take out a small property insurance policy, so if you had a problem, the insurance would take care of it. Both of the people who I worked with there were extremely pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. Just moved out, so if you are looking for safe affordable storage, this is a great place. These bad reviews seem untrue to me. read more

Pros: lots of units available... Cons: they don't have cameras on an entire row of storage units that got robbed and they refused to even give one month free for half of my stuff getting stolen.... when I came to pay my fee the next month they didn't even tell me that my lock had been cut and my stuff ransacked... i drive to my unit to see that they replaced my lock with a new janky one... so I went back to the office and, like usual during normal business hours, nobody was there... I had to wait 35 minutes for them to come back and tell me that in fact mine and a bunch of other units in my row had been robbed in the middle of the night a few weeks back... Nobody even bothered to tell me. I definitely wont be recommending this place to others or returning. Perhaps the above is why they have so many storage units available... read more

After being a client for over 5 years, making every payment, they auctioned off my stuff after 3 months of non-payment. The credit card I had on file expired, and they failed to notify me. They waited the proper amount of time and then sent a letter of auction for lien. Legally it was within their rights, Morally they are corrupt company. The property is Infested with rats, mice, and cockroaches(see other reviews below). The management and staff have gone downhill over the years, as I said I was a client for 5 years, and do to the fact their office staff writing my email down incorrectly, I have lost irreplaceable family heirlooms. 3 months of non payment, after 5 years and thousands of dollars to them in on time payments. Absolutely find another storage unit and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Update: I was 2 months late on payment and they had an accurate phone number and email, instead they sent notice of lien sale, on the first day they could, to an address that I had made clear I was no longer living at. And called a number I had not put on a previous contract that I was no longer using. Predatory. BEWARE!!! read more

The young woman who answers the phone, Keehay, is very polite, friendly and patient. I was uncertain of the timing that I would need a room, and unsure of the size. She put me on a waiting list and has consistently called me for several months to let me know what was available. I really appreciate her follow through and professional, courteous manner. They closed my account and took my deposit without a word. I went down today to clean and close the account, but got a rude surprise. My code no longer worked, as they had decided the unit was abandoned. Not even a call to verify, because "we're so big now." read more

The Staff, Keehay & Travis, at C&M storage have been extremely helpful and personable on the phone and in person in the process of renting my storage units ...and recently renting an additional unit. My satisfaction is very positive. During the recent wildfires in our area I needed a place quickly. The management was very compassionate and offered a reduced fee, an excellent accessible unit located conveniently and under a spotlight. My deposit is being returned. This is a horrible business!! They lie, I Had a storage unit and when it came time to turn it over to the facility I cleaned it out completely and even swept. They said they would mail me a check for my deposit, I never received it. I called two weeks later and they said the storage was dirty, there were beads and glass all over the floor. I didn't even have anything with beads or glass in the unit! They even claimed they had pictures. It was only $20, but they earned by having bad business practices. read more

Not impressed at all. my deposit was promised and not returned , called to see what happened . He said there were a few nails on the floor. when I left I inspected it carefully.and it was a lot cleaner when I left than the last tenant .btw bill was paid in full. its funny how they operate.if you want to move and you have paid your rent they do not refund any exiting rent. you are SOL. if your rent is paid on the 5th instead of the 1st they will not accept anything but the next months rent and if you dont or cannot pay they lock you out.. Hate to see such a dirty business in such a beautiful place . lesson learned read more

After 49 months of early payments, a payment from my bank bill pay service was lost in the mail. I was unaware of this until I received a nasty letter from the manager at C&m telling me I was being charged a$10.00 late fee and a $10.00 pre lien fee, and threatend to block my entry code and sell my items in the sorage unit for not making my payment on time. I sent C&M proof of my bank sending the payment. They said I still have to pay the fees. After 5 years of being on time with payments a simple friendly reminder would have brought the problem to light. Their heavy handed way of doing business has cost them a loyal customer for life. Maybe they have a lot of customers who don't pay on time, but they should treat the good ones a little better. This is not the way to operate a business to keep customers. They got the $20.00 in fees but they will not get another $50.00 rent payment from me. read more
