At that point, I was honestly frustrated and quite irriated about the lies, but chose to just take the order and leave. I can't speak for everything on the menu, but the samosas are definitely not freshly made. They're also quite small for the price, and the dabeli felt overpriced for what it was. If you're looking for truly fresh snacks, it's worth being a bit mindful about what you order here.

The shelves are stocked from floor to ceiling and the aisles are narrow. It's just a few inches larger on both sides than the white hand-baskets that you can grab when you walk in. There is houseware, cleaning supplies, cosmetics, snacks, toys, convenience foods, and drinks. Their cold section has lots of mochi and a wide range of beverages. The staff helped me locate a few items, like the bilateral heated shoulder pads. They had three different heating pad options in different parts of the store, so I was thankful for the help locating things. Typically, I'd travel to Edgewater for a few favorite items - Black brand coffee, Ito-en bottled tea, rice snacks (minoya kaki no tane), Bourbon's Tree Stumps! Teso offers more Japanese options than I can typically find at 99 Ranch. I spent just over $50 and was given a free 88oz BB Laboratories PH Moist Washing foam, which was a really great surprise! I can't wait to give it a try! Thank you to the Teso Jersey City team for making this first trip delightful.
