These trash cans are made to be bear proof- they're virtually indestructible. The city and the county seems to have hired these guys to do a bunch of their work around this part of the state- you can see their distinctive style all over. They do that iconic Yellowstone look of silhouettes of mountainous animals like bears, elk or eagles for light fixtures or even the lowly recycling bin. They also do powder coating here! This operation is quite impressive, with the amount of metalwork that they're spinning out of this shop on Broadway, you can see their work everywhere around town! They have a showroom of a lot of their works, which is all quite reasonably priced, especially when you think about how indestructible all their work is! Enter the shop and you'll find an eclectic mix of work - utilitarian simple pieces, complex custom designs, Montana-centric tables, repurposed/reclaimed ski benches and humor (my fave amidst the cowboy and western "Welcome" signs is the similar but contrary "Go Away" sign).
