Right now they are so well stocked for fall - mums of all different shapes, sizes and colors. Tons of pumpkins of course. But really the highlight are all of the other unique plants they have that I really haven't seen elsewhere. Definitely a must if you are local and want to get some plants and flowers.

But despite the small size, every time I have gone in to Hoffman's, I have found exactly what I needed, and at a fair price - sometimes a few pennies more than the big box stores, and sometimes a few pennies less. The real differentiator is that when you walk into Hoffman's, you are greeted by someone who asks you how they can HELP you, and then they will help you find everything you were looking for, very quickly and professionally. Over the past 2 years, I have probably interacted at least once with each of the people who work there (and it has been pretty much all the same people working at the store the whole time), and every time I have gone in, I have had a pleasant and positive experience. One time I asked for something obscure that I didn't expect them to have, but I took a chance. They didn't have it, but the guy told me exactly where I could go to find it, and it turned out he was right. I think it's great that we have the option to give a local retailer our business instead of a national or international conglomerate. So I have made it my policy to check Hoffman's first before thinking about going to the big warehouses where you can walk around for an hour looking for something and not a single person will approach you and ask if you need help.

The cashier was very helpful in ringing up the purchase, and provided helpful suggestions for planting the tree. While we spoke in the store she radioed a team member to tie up the branches for ease of transport. The gentleman put plastic wrap down to keep the car interior clean and braced the bucket with rocks to keep the tree from rolling while driving. I am pleased with the knowledge and service at Hoffmans. They always have quality plants.
