Service was great. Food was fresh. Nice little place. Very clean. I ordered the Stir Fry which is never a wow at a Thai place. I couldn't taste the promised ginger and garlic and that's where they lost a star. Hubby got the coco curry. Very nice and spicy. Looks like they have upstairs seating as well.

It's great to have this Vietnamese option in Gto. I had the Pho Gha. It was well portioned but I thought the taste was lack luster. The chicken was a bit on the dry side and not enough chicken in the Pho. Also, they were missing cilantro which is a staple herb in Vietnam. The place is very cute and cozy. I sat by the window for an amazing view but beware, if you choose the window, you'll get a lot of flys buzzing around. I didn't mind that exchange for the airy experience!

Pad Thai and coconut curry

It's a cute little spot, small with only a few tables. It may be called Bánh Mì but they also do Thai food We found mixed reviews mostly knocking it for being bland and flavorless but wanted to see for ourselves. I am not an expert on Thai food in the sense I've never visited Thailand, but I've tried maybe 30 Thai places in SF alone. The shrimp spring rolls were as good as any I've had, I would definitely have them again. My friend had the coconut curry with shrimp. It was okay, definitely wasn't bland. I ordered the pad thai. It was really sweet. It tasted like the noodles were cooked then tossed in the sauce, the way I make noodles and pasta sauce at home. I don't think they were fried. The flavors were also off- ginger and sweet is all I tasted. The saving grace was the chili sauce. I doused the noodles in it and that really helped. I typically add a lot of chili sauce on my pad thai anyhow. The service was friendly and fast, all the staff were great. If you're looking for something different in this town, give it a try. Overall it was a good experience

Orquídea - Green curry chicken with white rice. Love it!! I like it spicy and the rice was perfectly cooked.

After days of eating local cuisine, my dad and I were really craving Asian food, so we decided to…read moretry Orquidea, hoping for some authentic Thai flavors. While it wasn't exactly what we were looking for, it was good enough to satisfy the craving. We ordered the yellow curry and pad see ew. Yellow Curry - It had a nice slightly spicy, gingery flavor, which I enjoyed. There was a decent amount of chicken, though I definitely wish there had been more. The vegetables were a nice touch, but the eggplant was a little undercooked and could have been softer. Pad See Ew - This. didn't really taste like traditional pad see ew--it was more like Chinese-style fried rice noodles. The flavors were okay, but it was pretty oily, and it definitely needed some of the spicy seasoning to bring out more flavor. The portion of beef was also disappointing, with only about 10 small pieces of meat, which wasn't what I expected. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't amazing either. If you're craving Asian food, it's satisfying enough, but if you're looking for authentic Thai flavors, you might be a bit disappointed.

Thai restaurant in San Miguel de Allende! Some comfort food for 3 Asian women on holiday!…read more Not crowded at all. Only one table full is generally not a good sign, but we needed rice & other comfort food. We started with the fresh shrimp rolls with peanut sauce. Then the tuna satay. Tuna was a bit fishy tasting but good. We ordered Tom Ka soup with tofu. Quite a bit of mixed veggies in the soup, but not over cooked at all! Met the owner who is also the cook! Very nice lady! Come and give this restaurant some love! Nice diversion from Mexican food if you need it!

For dessert we ordered the brownie and the berry cheesecake. The rooftop is cute and airy. Definitely would recommend this restaurant for brunch or lunch.

The menu was filled with a variety of dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I was particularly impressed with how they were able to create such flavorful and satisfying dishes without the use of animal products. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting while I sat upstairs, making it the perfect spot for a great meal. The service was also top-notch - the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Plus, it was helpful that the guy spoke English and had slowish free wifi (download / upload speeds about 3) -if you need to translate anything. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty, healthy, and cruelty-free dining experience. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes! It's the better location than Avocado Punk (also great) unless you are visiting the train museum (Plaza de las Tres Centurias) which you should definitely go on the weekends when they have their craft shows. Mesa Verde has more fresher and grown locally, it seems than other restaurants but you can be the judge when you visit. A lot of the vegetarians restaurants shut their doors so support the locals as much as you can. I'm from the USA and wish we have somewhere close in my town.
