I took a proactive approach to support the dental office, I was grossly disappointed in the service we received. I scheduled the appointment since this was a new dentist for us, I went in for a semi-annual cleaning for my little family of four. My youngest child got her teeth cleaned then they charged 89.00 for a deep cleaning, which is included in my policy (I just found out) will be calling for a refund, and they refused to perform the general cleaning for the rest of us. I am beyond disappointed in the level of service they offered. I would say they did a poor job of customer service, especially when you are in the service industry. I've been going to this office since I moved to Houston back in 2018 and have had a positive experience each time I've been! The staff is friendly and the services have been efficient (under an hour for cleanings). If you're nervous about going to the dentist the folks here make the experience less daunting by letting you watch Netflix and working efficiently during your appointments. For COVID, they take thorough precautions by only letting in person in the lobby at a time, and checking your temperature at the door. You're also required to fill a few forms regarding COVID. The hygienists and dentist wear face masks and face shields, as well as full-body smocks over their scrubs. Definitely an excellent place to get dental care and I'm happy I've chosen Byte on Weslayan. read more

I was a little skeptical at first, I walk by this place all the time when I go to Randalls. I needed a dentist, and I'm lazy. So a dentist near my house would be ideal. When I looked up the reviews I was surprised to see it have 4.5-5 star reviews. Next day when I was walking back from the grocery store, I decided to take to take the plunge. Everyone was nice and the place looks great inside. I met the staff and Dr Rewari; everyone was so warm and inviting. De Rewari even called before the first appointment to welcome me and see if there was anything special I wanted to cover during my visit. During the office visit everyone was nice and thorough. They have an advanced 360-degree X-ray machine and TV on the ceiling. Hygienist was diligent and even checked my gum levels (which not every place does). Dr Rewari was great and easy to talk to. She was supportive of me keeping my baby tooth as long as possible. I liked that she didn't try to do any hard sell, which I've had happen at other dentist offices over the years. I've been to a couple dentists trying to find the right one. Most have been unfriendly and super unwelcoming, but not this one! I came last week because of a chipped tooth. Immediately they were wonderful, had small talk and walked me through everything that they were going to do, introduced the staff to me. Then I had to show up today for a root canal and a crown fitting. All the scary things. I do have high anxiety when it comes to the dentist. But I brought headphones, they again talked me through everything. Made sure I was comfortable, even held my hand at one point. Was constantly asked if I was okay. At one point I felt relaxed and taken care of which I've NEVER felt at the dentist especially mid root canal. My mom referred me and now I can't see myself going anywhere else. My Invisalign journey has been the absolute worst from the beginning! I am an Invisalign patient with the original owner of the company Dr Rewari, that sold the practice in July of 2021 to Dr. Emden! There was some sort of agreement that this office would continue to help me due to the original Dr. being out of town but that has been a nightmare! Every time I call no one ever has answers, no one knows who I am and just getting some sort of schedule/normalcy is hard and extremely frustrating! I think I am in like 4 months of just a waiting phase because of how unorganized things are! When attachments etc fall off I have to wait weeks or months to be seen and when I do get seen it has been after hours and only by staff that worked with the original Dr., which is now no one! But yet when I do go in they say things like when are you going to schedule your next cleaning or x-ray with us etc, like what, why would I spend money somewhere to continue to be treated like an after thought and do not feel like my business is valued! Despite all of that, I still have recommended two people to the office for Invisalign because they have good specials and it is now a black owned business and if you know me that's what I strive to support and invest in even they have not supported me! I can't fully speak on their experience but one proceeded with this office the other did not did not! This last go around I was given 11 aligners which 8 were movement and 3 were over correction! My overall issue has been that I have never been given enough trays to fix the issues, because the set before this one was 8 trays without overcorrection and my new set is to continue to fix the same issues and refinement #6 will continue to fix these issues! If I just had enough trays from the beginning I wouldn't have to keep doing this! There was even one set that made my teeth literally curve to the right so I had to basically start from scratch to fix that and then continue to fix the original issues, sigh!! On Feb 7th, I was done with overcorrection tray #9 and had been stuck in tray #10 for over 4 weeks until they could find someone, because Dr. Emden kept refusing, to help create spacing on my bottom teeth so that tray #11 can fit to continue closing the spacing on my top teeth because tray #10 was hurting at the roots of my bottom teeth! That happened on 3/16 and now that it has been done bc the original dentist drove down, and the spacing is still not closed so that whole process was basically pointless now I have more spacing issues to deal with! So now as of 3/24 I am just sitting in limbo until I know what is happening! Dr. Rewari is in Austin and she had indicated Dr. Emden didn't want to take on my transfer! It will likely be another 2 months or so stuck in 1 tray that's already rough around the edges because after not wearing trays for a long time the first 2 trays always wear a bit faster! I am absolutely tired and extremely frustrated! Dr. Emden refused to take on my case but called me last week to talk about it? For what? As of May 31, I am still stuck in that last tray! read more

New to the Houston area and was just researching every dentist possible, came along this place and WOW. Front desk was being worked by Mary who was very knowledgeable and kind. I received my dental exam by Michael, who was a doll. He made me feel very comfortable even though the dentist is normally my number one trigger for my anxiety. I like Dr Sanita Rewari, she's friendly, very knowledgeable and very helpful to answer your concerns and questions. They fit my teeth for the whitening guard for free. They will also give you the whitening gel to take home. Excellent promotions for the clients. They can also do it in the office for free. You have a choice. Byte operates as if they are scammers. You will be unable to connect with anyone at the company by phone, email, text facebook. Nothing. Absolute silence. They will follow up and communicate in every way up until payment is made then after you will be ghosted. My account manager and I discussed payment and we agreed upon the monthly payment plan for 36 months. Bype decided to charge my card $2974 with the first initial payment including interest. That was a bill that I was not expecting and I was unable to speak to anyone about it for weeks. DO NOT use this company. They give off scam vibes. read more

Don't be fooled by the introductory offers which lure you in with low prices. After a reasonable introductory price, I was told that cavities would be about 40% higher priced than my regular dentist. It was a full $100 more to fill a cavity at Byte Dental. When I called, they told me that the zip code makes a difference for what they charge. They did send me the x-rays, which was nice, but I will not go back there again. It's a scam. read more

I made a dental appointment for me and my husband back in August (whoops - I am super late with this one) to get our teeth nice and sparkly clean for our wedding. At every other dentist I have been to in my life, a technician/dental assistant does the cleaning and then the dentist comes over, pokes around and schmoozes you for a few minutes asking you questions you can't answer because your mouth is stuck open, and then you're done. Here, the dentist did the cleaning herself and since we both there at the same time, she just went back and forth from room to room. So basically the receptionist scheduled us both at the same time, but we would have been much better off scheduling them separately so that it took each of us 1 hour. Instead, we were both there for 2 hours. Dr. Alfi is very nice though and she did a good job cleaning. (My measurement of good is not too much poking with sharp objects.) My teeth did feel sparkly clean afterwards. When I went back a few days later to pick up our trays, there was no one there even though they were supposed to be open. The second time I came back the door was unlocked but there didn't appear to be anyone there. I rang the bell and called out several times. I waited about 10 minutes for the receptionist to come back - she had been out getting a snack. Not very professional... It was easy to get an appointment so if you are looking for something last minute this is probably a good bet. Also, they do a fluoride rinse which a) I haven't had since I was a kid and b) my insurance did not cover. Check your dental insurance and you can decline if it's not covered. read more

If I could give a half star rating, I would. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere. They don't offer refunds or a partial refund. When I was ready for my continuation aligners, they sent me HARD aligners. If I try to insert them, they push my gums down. It's been a month of back and forth emailing different people. I keep getting passed along. They say it's a tracking issue but it's actually a manufacturer issue. These aligners are hard as a rock. I'm being pushed into doing a new impression kit which means I'll have to wait 3-4 months for new aligners which could possibly be rock hard again. I'm so frustrated and ashamed that I wasted time and money on this company. read more

After the cleaning, they perform x-rays and an examination-they tell me that I have NINE CAVITIES, I REPEAT NINE. They immediately brought me the paperwork for billing. As, I agreed, since, you typically believe dentists, I had a bad feeling. So, I called my other dentist for a second opinion. Come to find out I only had 1 CAVITY!!!!! FLOSS dental was going to perform 9 fillings for NO REASON!!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Not to mention the staff is unfriendly, the assistants were quite rude. read more
