I love coming here to enjoy the walking trails, gorgeous views, and the relaxing atmosphere. It's a great place to take a leisurely walk, kayak on the water, have a picnic in the beautiful shaded areas, or simply spend time enjoying nature. The park is especially lovely with the water, trees, and open spaces, and it's a wonderful place to slow down and escape the fast pace of everyday life. It's also a great spot for families, and there's plenty of space to explore and enjoy. We're so lucky to have amazing outdoor spaces like this in our area. Riverfront Regional Park is definitely one of those places I'm always happy to visit and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic outing

Embrace the redwoods, lakes, the river, and shaded paths all within one park…read more Hands down my favorite regional park in Sonoma County. Come here to escape the chaos of the city. Where the water and trees welcome you with serenity. Come walk the dog, ride your horse, bring your kayak, bring your fishing pole, bring a blanket, have a BBQ in the group picnic area and more. A safe place for children but please always watch them around any body of water. Just on the outskirts of Santa Rosa, Riverfront welcomes you with all of its glory. The trails around the lake a extra wide and flat. Easy for a wheelchair to go round. This is one of my regular spots to escape and intake the beauty of nature. I highly recommend just buying a parking pass to support the parks. If you visit a regional park once a month, it pays for itself.

The park requires helmet and pads, has a bathroom, water fountains and allows bladers and scooters and has experts to beginners. There's no snacks but the coner store/deli is jsut a block away, just past the Best Western Hotel on Dry Creek. There's a great big oak tree that shades an area where you can get yer gear on, sit and watch or hang out with friends. It's really an example, no A MODEL of how city government and locals can come together and support space for our youth. There's no graffiti and zero tolerance for drugs or violence and signs that say "This is Your Park, Take Care of it" and the kidz and elders do = every time I go there, it makes me smile! I've seen real young kidz and veteran/ experts ride here all toegther no prob'! This park just has a great energy, great feel! This is such a great little park hidden off the beaten path, with nice grass and really nice smooth concrete bowls, (so no bikes here)..the layout is not huge... but just flows ....so sweet, even if you don't skate take your lunch and hang out and watch the talent do their thing, SK8 for LIFE!
