I have shopped here for years and always had great service, until now…read more I was in asking about a specific part. Before I could finish asking the person working customer service said "we don't have those" I started over and it was a specific screw and the only response was "we have a lot of screws" I replied "I guess you cannot help" and walked away. He was perfectly fine with that level of customer service. I reached out through their social media first and was just told to go follow some other link to re tell my complaint. I had initially reached out privately because as a business owner I always appreciate being contacted so I can take care of the issue. To be given a link and shuffled off felt dismissive and tone deaf. This was once a great little neighborhood hardware but it is not the same with the new ownership

I've always counted on this Ace Hardware for helpful, knowledgeable service, but this visit was…read moreextremely disappointing. I walked in and was ignored by every employee. When I finally needed assistance, I had to interrupt a conversation between three employees just to get someone to help me. Unfortunately, the employee who assisted me didn't seem to have the knowledge I would expect from someone working in a hardware store and wasn't much help at all. In the end, I had to find what I needed on my own. So much for the helpful service I've come to expect from Ace Hardware.

One of my favorite places in GR! It's a consignment store with beautiful, high-quality furniture…read moreand knick-knacks. Their furnishings are artfully arranged and priced fairly. And it's not all furniture; there are lamps, (new) candles, objets d'art, (new) throw pillows, bookends, etc. Basically anything you could find at Pottery Barn (save linens and tableware) but higher quality and certainly more unique. It's such a comfortable, warm place that my husband and I enjoy just popping in every few weeks to see what's new. Unfortunately (or fortunately!) we've run out of spaces to put furniture. Rick, the owner, has a great eye for quality and style and is super friendly, to boot. Once he offered to lend us his SUV so we could haul a piece of furniture to our nearby home! We declined his very generous offer :-) They do deliver for a fee, for things that can't be wedged into a standard vehicle.

I enjoyed this place so much, I had to FaceTime my mom to show her how cool everything was. They had new, vintage, repurposed, and hand crafted pieces throughout the entire store.
