Salmon with blueberry reduction, sweet potato, and fried green tomatoes.

Amazing food! We were staying in Ozark as a stop over before Oklahoma City and with not much else to do, we made this stop. I had the salmon and she had the catfish. The salmon and blueberry reduction might have been the best salmon of my life. The spicy catfish wasn't spicy just big bold flavors. Fried green tomatoes were delicious as was the sweet potato. Mac and cheese was a bit mushy but good flavor. We sat outside overlooking the river and it was perfect. The waitresses were all decked out in red, white, and blue for the 4th! So fun and highly recommend the stop.

Delicious steaks & homemade desserts. I didn't have high expectations but they have a great chef and the friendliest staff. I was blown away!

    Salmon with blueberry reduction

I've eaten here three times. The first two times I stuck with the cheeseburger and fries and it was a very good lunch. The last time I was there the waitress suggested the salmon and my dining companion and I both took a chance. The salmon was grilled with a blueberry reduction sauce and was served with green beans. It was cooked perfectly and was unbelievably good. The guy I was with said it was the best salmon he's ever had and I have to agree. Don't let the location of this place (out in the boonies) fool you. The service is always great and the food is delicious. Highly recommend giving it a try. Note that they're only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The furnishings, decor and spaces are well designed to be modern, contemporary and (comfortably) trendy. The food was high quality. We enjoyed Oysters Rockefeller and Pull Apart Crab Rangoon as appetizers. For our main course, we shared a cut of 16 oz Bison paired alongside a Wedge Salad with thinly sliced green apple that complimented the superb homemade blue cheese dressing. We also had Brussels sprout and asparagus. Our kids shared a fish n chips with Mac n cheese as the "chips!" We drank water with our meal. The drink menu was plentiful for those who enjoy alcohol - it was quite expansive and seemed to have something for every taste from wines and beers and cocktails/specialty drinks. We don't drink alcohol, so we cannot speak with the voice of having tried any of the adult beverages. The dessert menu looked nice, though we didn't save room at this meal to enjoy - we will save that for another time. The pricing was a bit more than one would normally spend in the River Valley - though the ambiance, food quality, menu selections and wow factor were all certainly outstanding and in a class apart from most any other restaurant in this area. By comparison - I would say BluPoint would compare to Oak or Ruth's Chris (both in Rogers, Arkansas and both specializing in steaks). Other comparables in quality and enjoyment factor would be Doe's Eat Place in Fort Smith and the location in Fayetteville (also steak houses). Finally - just a little below those mentioned above (in my view), I would say 21 West End and Stone House at Chaffee Crossing, both in Fort Smith would be comparable to BluPoint. Of course, the menu selections will vary from the places I've mentioned as comparable - BluPoint had two solid options for high quality meat (filet and bison), as well as several seafood options - which makes sense given their specialty. We met the chef and he was friendly and pleasant. His creations (that we tried) were very enjoyable. We paid $270, including a 20% tip for the selections described above - so definitely don't forget the wallet or you'll be washing a lot of dishes!

Great recommendations and when the special we ordered was sold out we were able to change the fish for the same prep. Started with a blueberry margarita, which was tart but excellent. I like grapefruit (I peel it like an Orange and eat the wedges without sugar) so right up my alley. Even my wife (who doesn't like grapefruit) loved this drink. Had the Ceviche app. Really good. I am kind of a ceviche expert (have been eating it and a similar food called kelaguin all over the world) and this may be the best we have had in the States. We shared the lobster ravioli and a pecan crusted red snapper (the monkfish was sold out) and both were great. Ravioli was exceptional. Three pieces, shrimp and perfect sauce. Lots of lobster in the filling. The snapper which again was the substitute for the monkfish was light with a more subtle flavor but was served with really good mashed potatoes and broccoli. Unfortunately the ravioli came out first (had to change the fish so slight delay) so the strength of the ravioli flavor would have been better as the second shared entree due to the subtleness of the pecan crusted snapper. But really that is not a complaint. Tight rooms, packed with tables and people. Even so not too loud to have a conversation and everyone was super nice. We will eat here again next time we visit.

These were amazing! I did not care for the sauce they were paired with however, but they were fantastic on their own. The cornbread was good, but extremely crumbly. Hard to eat without it falling apart with each bite. Also the butter served with it was a necessity for me because without it these cornbread muffins were pretty dry. For my entree i ordered the fried catfish. This was HUGE and well worth the $19.99 IMO. I only was able to eat one fillet and the fries before i was stuffed. My wife got the large Ceaser salad and shared it with my son, and my daughter enjoyed an order of fries and the appetizers. They aren't big seafood people and I had promised them ice-cream afterwards if they agreed to come here. Service was great and the food was fast and fresh! Bottomline: The hype for White River Fish House is legit, and is a great stop if your looking for a good seafood option in the Branson Landing area. The view over the lake / river is gorgeous and the rustic wood sportsman cabin theme is a personal favorite of mine. Only change i would make is that I should have gotten the Walleye.

We get seated and order drinks, which were the best part of this experience, but also when we got the first of a pattern of bad news. They were out of the blackberries in one of their signature cocktails. We subbed in blueberry and went to order mains. They were out of the duck beast, so I went with the lobster Mac and cheese. The princess ordered salmon and whipped potatoes. You may notice that her plate didn't have potatoes. That's because they ran out of those too, on a very slow Friday night. It took about 45 mins to get our food and in that time our waitress never topped up our water or asked if we wanted another cocktail, which we would have gotten if she did. The food came out and I realized why it took so long. The lobster was broiled so hard it was stringy and dry It was almost impossible to get out of the shell. After about half of a half of tail I decided it wasn't worth it and waited until I got home where I could do it in a more uncivilized manor. The sauce was fantastic, although the pasta was cooked until it was mush sadly. The salmon was dramatically over cooked as well. It was greatly past well done in order to get the crust on both sides of the fish, instead of just the presentation side. There is a reason culinary school teaches it that way... It was too dry for her to eat more than half, even with the sauce. The whole meal was a disappointment. We heard another couple order dessert, and guess what? They were out of cheesecake too. This place won't be open much longer and I see now why it was empty during a prime dining time.
