Also upstairs is an audio area to listen to vinyl (and extensive collection of vinyls). Lots of outlets in each workspace area. Very clean, plenty of windows for natural light. The bottom floor has a cafe with a lot of food options. You can only eat in the cafe area, but the options are so diverse (sandwiches, pizza, nuggets, small frittatas) and coffee is very cheap as well. Even the cafe area has a section of outlets. Multiple self check-out desks, both on bottom floor near the cafe and on the main floor. Also several help desk stations (bottom floor, two on main floor, and on top floor). My happy place. Makes studying more bearable.

From the moment I arrived and greeted her with a polite "good morning," I noticed a distant attitude; she didn't respond to my greeting, and when I later asked for the Wi-Fi password, she gave me a disapproving look. I found a quiet spot where no one was around, put on my headphones, and joined a virtual meeting, speaking in a moderate tone to avoid disturbing anyone. About 15 minutes later, the librarian approached me and abruptly asked me to leave, stating that the library was not a place for calls. While I understand and respect that rule, the way she communicated it came across as unnecessarily arrogant and unkind. It's not just about enforcing rules--it's also about how those rules are communicated. A more respectful approach would have made a big difference.

BEWARE…read more October 3, 2019 time between 3-4 PM I came to the library today because my sister needed to finish her job application. As we went into the computer room it was a full house with all the computers in use except for three. We decided to use the two computer up front. As we are using the computer after an hour the librarian comes up to us and says we have to leave because we were on the computer the longest. As we turned around and looked the exact same people who were on the computers prior to us coming ( all non colored) were still there. We told the librarian its impossible for us to be on the computer the longest when at least 6 of the original people were still on the computer . She could care less about what we were saying and started logging my sister off the computer in a rush. She was really rude and could care less that my sister needed to finish. I asked to speak with the supervisor and she took me to Mr. Kevin a tall friendly fellow who actually listened and proceeded to walk me up stairs to resolve the issue. MR. Kevin was nice, friendly, professional and kind and tried to resolve the issue. 5 stars for Mr Kevin 0 stars for the mean librarian

No problem, just had to wrap up a quick call for five minutes, and was re-approached by 2:32 because apparently the need to leave was THAT urgent (no signs or anything indicating that this is a legit rule). There were still 0 other people in the entire space. I'm seeing many other reviews about being treated poorly by librarians and I'm unsurprised. Avoid it here at all costs and go to Harrison. Librarians here are on a weird power trip.

Everybody that works here is great, courteous and extremely helpful. Being part of the WLS, you can go on-line, browse what you want (books, CD's, DVD's), place a hold on it and it will come to your local branch for pickup. The beauty of it is that you have access to the whole of Westchester's library system from New Rochelle to Cortlandt Manor at your fingertips. Plus they have parking!

I've been wanting to check out Grace Farms for a while now and finally got the chance to go…read morerecently (when the weather was absolutely perfect). The farm is free to attend and roam around, and it's great for dates or hanging out with friends. There is extensive grounds and beautiful architecture. Their food was also really good--everything was organic and many items were grown right there on the farm! There were also free tea tastings when we went. Such a lovely way to spend a beautiful day.

We've attended a couple of their scheduled events. The beautiful, modern, minimalist auditorium incorporates the surrounding landscape seamlessly. Excellent acoustics and high-end electronic equipment help the speakers and performers give their best. A recent sold-out lecture by Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer was inspiring, challenging and warmly entertaining. It was followed by a marvelous chamber music concert featuring a collection mostly contemporary works influenced by a connection with nature. Grace Farms' mission is to support nature, arts, justice, community and faith. It's a much-appreciated place to refocus and refuel in these difficult times.

They have attractive displays in the entry area and throughout the library. There were enough signs around that made it easy for me to find the type of books I was looking for. When I was ready to check out, the librarian at the circulation desk was very friendly. I also love that their book return is a drive up one!

Books and other media materials are available for check out as well as computers for a quick internet search. Being part of the Westchester Library System, materials from all across the county in each town can be reserved and sent to your local branch for pick up. I needed a book right away, so I searched it on-line. I couldn't wait for it to be delivered to my local library, so I took a quick ride at lunchtime. There is limited parking for roughly 25 cars, but was pretty full when I arrived. Run in, pick up, run back out, super convenient.
