I was out and about in the beautiful city of Apple Valley raiding different antique and thrift stores when I stumbled upon this hidden gem. There's a big selection of clothes, household appliances, furniture and media room with VHS, CDs, and DVDs. My boyfriend and I split up to cover more ground and naturally, my toddler instantly found toys she wanted. It just so happens that on that specific day they were doing a "fill a bag for $5" deal on clothing. They provide you with a plastic bag and now all you have to do is find things that make you happy. It was easy to find a lot of things I liked and things in my size. What can I say? I'm a lucky shorty. Oh but the fun doesn't stop there. Right across from the thrifty there's ANOTHER store. Score! Are you a little trendy, classy and edgy? Then you'll love it here. The pictures speak for themselves. There's a gift for everyone on your Christmas list and the prices are reasonable. Who knew you could do all your Christmas shopping in one spot? Checkmate. Give them a try and convince me you left empty handed. Doubt it!

The pricing is done on a whim it seems, with prices all over the place, so some things are grossly overpriced while other things are an absolute steal - it just requires your savvy eye ;) Shopping here was fun. There *are* deals to be found. The staff all seems quite friendly and helpful. One star taken away only because they lay the Jesus on really thick here, to the point where the average secular person may feel unwelcome: they blast either Christian rock or a radio telethon loudly over the PA and there's a colossal neon sign saying "Jesus Is Lord" dominating the room. I know, it's a religious mission, but it personally gives me the heebie-jeebies. I've been a thrift store shopper my whole life and never seen a store quite so overt in the religious paraphernalia. Still, I go back fairly often, and you should too.
