My response is that of the latter. Not a bad thing, just not the "I hit the jackpot" feeling that we aim for in thrifting. But, one thing, the clothes are more reasonably priced than the Goodwill's or Salvation Army's. As for the housewares, furniture etc - bit overpriced is being polite. It's a good cause, just can't afford to pay that much even for charities. Stick to the clothing. Not much shoes at all, except for maybe few brand names locked in glass case up front if your lucky to find your size. The Christian music station (Air1fm) is a nice touch, thank God for that or it'd be boring and desolate as the store itself could use a fresh coat of paint to liven it up a little at least. Worth a peeksy if you're in the area, but only if you are in the area.

I can seriously walk around there forever there are little treasures in every corner and every inch of the wall in there. I've found so many things but my most favorite is a mid century bookshelf that fits perfectly in my 70s style home. There wasn't a price tag listed on it yet and the lady up front was so nice and called the vendor and asked him how much it was for me right then and there. They are one of my favorite antique stores in the high desert, I always enjoy visiting.

It just so happens that on that specific day they were doing a "fill a bag for $5" deal on clothing. They provide you with a plastic bag and now all you have to do is find things that make you happy. A really rude white woman with long frizzy hair, a little dog, and a grumpy demeanor watched me back into the EMPTY parking lot where this thrift store was, saw me walk into the coffee shop waited a bit and then finally walked in and was totally rude and disruptive to the costumers of that business. She had the nerve to go out of her way (when she could've clearly told me something as she stood and watched me park my vehicle, again in an empty parking lot, which would've saved her this bad review). Instead she opens the door of that business and asks who owns the silver suv which was me, I said it's mine I can move it right now and instead of stopping there she preceded to rudely take her anger out on me saying she's tired of people parking her space while they get their hair done and stuff, mind you its not like she wasn't already parked and even if she wasn't she had the entire parking lot to herself aside from the one parking spot I parked in. My one friend is a little spicy and didn't like her tone of how she came in and caused a scene like that with me so she took it upon herself to chime in on the conversation asking if she had a sign that said that's her parking spot, that really wasn't necessary but she was being a friend and felt the need to speak up for me considering how rude this woman was. I was so embarrassed, I didn't even want to tell her I was going into the thrift store at that point nor did I want to give her my business, so I said yea I missed my turn i meant to come here so I parked in the empty parking lot. Clearly she's just miserable and maybe she was having a bad day but that really didn't look well for her business. Represent yourself and your store better. That was petty and you know it. To make a big deal like that when mine and your car were the only two in the entire parking lot was very rude and immature of you. You wouldn't know it but i am an avid antique collector, and i often frequent the local thrift and antique shops in the high desert ( Country crossroads being the best, very friendly and inviting staff and they always have one of a kind vintage items I never leave there empty handed). I contemplated leaving this store a review as I didn't even go inside but as I sat here and read reviews on why this store has only 3.7 stars, I came across more than a few reviews talking about how rude the workers here are. So I figured I'd contribute to the reviews if that's how they treat their community who are trying to give them business. This was my first time coming to this thrift store and I would never come again. Your attitude and pettiness left a sour taste in my mouth I hope you had a better day today.

Ordered a custom sign from them, I asked for it to be cut and send without any finishes. I received…read moremy sign and it was cut and sized correctly, but rusted. I contacted them via email and told them about the situation and they told me that they thought that's what I wanted (even though I stayed otherwise). She tells me that the rust can be rubbed out with an S.O.S. pad, which did not work. Since I was painting it, I had to sand and grind it back down to raw steel, prep and paint. Whatever chemical they used to rust the steel caused several paint defects. They asked me to call them after I emailed to let them know about the situation, and they did not answer their phone. I've emailed them numerous times with no response. I don't recommend wasting time with this company.

She is now leaving negative reviews and masked reviews from a fake account onto my businesses google page. This woman is the most unprofessional business woman I have ever come into contact with. She sold me junk and I had to fight to get my money back. It wasn't until I filed a charge back that I got my money back. Because of this. I have now contacted my business attorney and google. I will file harassment charges on her and thankfully google will be removing her fake and false reviews. Do not do business with this company. I will be sure to post this everywhere! She has messed with the wrong person. My husband and I will be filing a complaint with the local police department as well.
