I bought a 3 year contract. At the least they were supposed to check them once a year. They don't. Unless you pester (pun intended) them they won't make an appointment. They make an appointment then they don't show. I've called them on 2 occasions, made appointments that they didn't show up for. No follow up. I had to call and ask why they didn't show. They missed…read moretheir scheduled and re-scheuduled appointments, and they failed to take care of the ants they came in to treat. When I called the owner with my concerns over the continued appearances of ants, he basically called me a liar and said he had just been at my residence the day before. I let him know it had been 4 days, and I had dealt with ants all weekend. Several days later when the ant problem still persisted, he dropped some more ant traps on my doorstep while I was out- the same ant traps that failed to work the first time. When I contacted him with my concerns, there was no resolution. I had to use another product to take care of the problem. They cost me $60 in service fees plus $35 is food I had to throw away because it was infested with ants. Terrible customer service, ineffective treatment, poor communication and no refund. America's WORST is a better name for their company.

The techs are great, 3 stars for them, minus 2 stars for their crappy customer service. Oddly, I called the Washington County Tax Assessors office to resolve a tax issue, Woman answers the phone and resolved my tax issue in under 5 min. the County manages 91,460 households but somehow a private exterminating company feels the need to use AI and 3 different people to complete a very simple task, unbelievable!

Bug Blaster had a contract with my HMO which was terminated last month THANKFULLY. I hired them…read moreprivately twice as the HMO contract was limited to common areas only. The first time was approx 3 yrs ago. I had some sort of critter living in my walk-in closet that chewed thru a $600 pair of leather boots which I kept on a shelf. They DID NOT find or eradicate whatever it was. I had to wait it out till the critter voluntarily left. That cost me $120 and was guaranteed tho I never received ANY refund. Next time was about a month ago. I was living with WORMS which crawled around my front porch every night after dark. Again no success in getting rid of this gross infestation. Unfortunately I'm an elderly female with a very weak stomach and merely looking at the gross disgusting worms often left me actually vomiting (that's also gross!). Bug Blasters sprayed to no avail. ($67 this time) That happens I'm sure a lot but here's why my experience with them finds me leaving a review. I never blamed BB for what happened; no accusations at all BUT following the treatment, my beloved dog, a shihtzu, almost overnight completely lost both her eyesight and hearing. This is totally breaking my heart as thru out the day and night, I lead her to her food dish and the front door. I walk beside her as she bumps into everything. If you're an animal lover, you know what this nightmare is like tho hopefully you've never experienced it. Tears are flowing just writing about it. I'm being 100% upfront with you all and will say that my vet doesn't think the worm treatment caused my pup's disabilities. I just find it strange that it happened overnight instead of gradually. After comprehensive research, I called BB and asked for the name of their spray. It took 3 calls for them to say "Defend". But I needed to know the ACTIVE INGREDIENTS so the poison control center could advise me. Despite repeated phone calls with me BEGGING, they wouldn't do this research for me or even call me back. IS THIS THE KIND OF COMPANY YOU WISH TO HIRE? I THINK NOT. Apologies for the length of this review but I want you to have ALL THE FACTS that made our lives a NIGHTMARE.
