Here's what he had to say: It was the best haircut I've ever gotten. The service was awesome. They treated me like a gentleman and felt pampered as a man lol. Metered parking on street or side street parking in the residential area. Staff: I have really only dealt with Skip. But from what I hear while waiting, the atmosphere is rather casual. Shop: Average clean. One of my co-workers told me about Clean Cut and suggested that I see Skip. Skip is the master Barber and I believe the owner. I have had about half a dozen cuts from skip and I have been please every time. I like my hair short on sides and medium on top. Skip gives an amazing fade. You have to make an appointment to see skip. His calendar is just about always full. Other barber do take walk ins. I had a cut once with a different barber. It was okay, but he was no skip :-). You can book an appointment on their site and you will get reminder a day before as well. My advice is too book ahead of time. I already have appointments booked for the rest of 2019. Give skip a try, you will be glad you did.

The service, compassion, kindness and attention to detail I received was unbelievable. The gentleman attending to me, Alex, just the sweetest soul, and so, so patient with lots of attention to detail. I did not know getting a good close shave could be so much work. Although this is a Barbershop, I will continue to go and have them help me shape my hair once it starts growing again. I hate the fact I can't complain about anything in the shop. I would love to complain about parking…read morebut that means I'm mad about EVERYTHING on Queens street and I don't have that type of time. The uber driver dropped me in the ally behind the shop because that's where the google maps took him. I found moe_beardbarber on insta and was a bit skeptic about his perfect pictures and upscale marketing techniques but I decided to go with it. Waking thru the door no one spoke but three barbers look like mad scientist working on heads as if they were battling each other. I notice the shop was extremely clean. When it was my turn I sat with the guy from insta who wore the Bane mask. I have no idea why he wears it but his savvy insta marketing wasn't just for show. Yet the Bane mask worked because lord knows I had a good time taking pics while he was cutting me and sending it to SC, FB, and insta I got a real kick out of it. Love the fact the 90% of my haircut I faced the mirror, my barber was overjoyed to show his craftsmanship off to his customer. I noticed they sold BEARD PRODUCTS and when people came in to buy them (happens often), they stop and sold them the product. I was wondering if they were going to.... STOP. Yes they use the same product on their customers with the cut (MT FAVORITE PART). During my cut the barber was very meticulous about every strand of hair to the point he finished each section with scissors. In prior military I've lived in Wisconsin, Germany, Hawaii, North Carolina, and now Texas I've set in tons of barber chairs. (This is the part when you believe I go to far with this review, it's cool tho because my barber went well beyond to far with his skill set for the price) THIS WAS THE BEST CUT IVE EVERY HAD IN MY LIFE. At cash out I owed $50 with a style cut, beard trim, razor line, and some fiber work (google it). I gave the man EVERYTHING I HAD IN MY POCKET (and I felt like I should have gave more. Perfect cut If you've read this far your already sold. Enjoy yourself.

Not really caring about my hair and knowing bad haircuts grow out, I tipped him and left. Besides, I always wear a hat in public. Two weeks later it was still a bad haircut. The sideburns were lopsided, hair on the left side of my head was shorter than the right and there was a clump missing from the top. Yesterday I went back. All but one barber was busy. I turned to the idle barber to say I wasn't happy with my haircut. I wanted to give Barber Ring a chance to fix it for free, or I would start going elsewhere. Then I took of my hat. His name was Sebastian. He seated me and went above and beyond. He did such a good job, I offered to at least tip him but he refused, "Catch me next time" he said. Bottom line, don't "walk in" to Barber Ring without making an appointment with Sebastian.
