I called The Critter Man and Justin was here the same day -- which felt like a miracle. He quickly and safely removed the squirrel (and babies omg) then covered up all the holes so this doesn't happen again. He was incredibly kind and genuinely funny, which helped in the stressful situation. Honorable mention to Landon (I think that was his name!) -- he was in training and took it like a champ. My wife had her Buick into Meineke for service and we picked it up mid-Morning. That afternoon I drove her to a Doctor's Appointment down off Randolph Rd in Charlotte and by the time we got about just before 5pm, the car was like a toaster. Turned on the A/C and took the fan to Max and it sounded like at 747 taking off. Took it back to Meineke at 7:30 am and the owner told her that they meant to tell her that it looked like mice or a squirrel was building a nest in the engine compartment. Went back in and pulled out another handful of nest and acorns. Could not figure out how this was possible. We had seen no signs like Rodent dropping or chewed wood to indicate their presence. This is a new development and the closest oak tree is over 200 yards away with many houses in between. My wife called The Critter Man and he was there within an hour. He took one look at the property and stated " ain't no way" and then he sat out to prove it. He inspected the garage area and no signs of rodent activity. Inspected all point of potential entry and nothing had been damaged and insulation was still in tact and no chewing on window frames where a rodent would have tried to create an entrance. Inspected the outside of the house as well as the attic and nothing. Finally he asked if we had traveled out of town recently and yes, we had just got back from 4 days in Marietta, GA. My wife remembers that the parking lot at the Comfort Suites was well shaded and there were plenty of Squirrels on the property. Problem answered but I do wonder where the Squirrel ended up. Would recommend The Critter Man to anyone with a pest problem. Fast, Professional, Great Rates and they take time to make sure their customers are satisficed.
