Before we could pull off, we then heard a giant clunk and noise quieted down but didn't stop. Pulled over and found a giant hole in the front right fender (plastic directly in front of the tire). Found a local mechanic that was still open. He zip-tied things down (I mistakenly thought he only used one...) in a few minutes. There was a language barrier so I wanted to make sure I had it checked out by a highly reputable shop after we got into Layton. Found Shadetree and Ryan helped us out, inspecting the work. Said everything is good to go until we get home (about 1500 miles from now), even with potential rain.
