I have never left a bad review until now. 11 times this business worked on my car and couldn't fix the issues with the tires that THEY put on. 11 TIMES!!! I will attach pictures with more detail. The never fixed the leaky tires, and after working on the tire sensors 11 times, they still couldn't fix them.
Now my tenth visit. They worked on the tire sensors and leaky tire, and once again, they still don't work, and of course the tire is still leaking. I go pick my vehicle up at night. I arrived right before closing to pick up the keys. I left as a sibling had picked me up, then we came back to pick my car up. By now all the staff is gone, and I've already picked up my keys. I noticed that on one side is a regular nut. NOT a lug nut, but just your average nut spinning on the stud. I'll include pictures to show. I also notice that on the other side of the car, there is simply a lug nut missing. When I went to drop it off, ALL THE LUG NUTS WERE THERE!!! I was frustrated by this, and decided to give them one last chance to fix it. Once again, this whole time I've been very polite, I'm a pretty mellow person, and I don't get upset at people as I understand often things aren't their fault.
This is now my eleventh visit. I arrive at Buy Sell Tires and explain to the sales associate what happened. He just told me to wait. No apology. I waited for just over an hour, then he finally came over and said that they only had one lug nut they could put on. WHAT?! They're a tire shop... and they only have one lug nut they could put on my car... he asked me which side I wanted it on!!! Now this whole time I'm very polite, these are just the thoughts going through my head. The humour of the situation is certainly not lost on me, and I can't help but chuckle. So, I get my one lug nut put on, and this is when I realise I need to take my car to another tire shop, as these people clearly can't fix my car.
I make an appointment with Curtis Tires in Abbotsford, bring it there and within 2 hours the sensors are working perfectly fine, and the leaky tire is fixed. Two hours...
So... I call and ask for the manager, and am once again transferred to Cory/Corrie. I explain to him again that I would like Buy Sell Tires to pay for this bill (total bill was $378.01 for leaky tire, program the tire sensors, and replace the lug nuts as Buy Sell Tires had replaced my original lug nuts with the wrong size). Cory/Corrie says there is actually an owner (Dustin), and I could talk with him. I call back several times before Dustin is actually there, and he doesn't apologise. He just tells me to text him the invoice. No problem! I message Dustin the invoice, and explain the break down of the receipts. No reply. Two days later I message him again... no reply. I try calling several times throughout the week, but he's never there. 14 days later I message Dustin again and he says "He been paid in full. Between you too". I have absolutely no idea what this means of course, so respond and tell him I don't understand what he means. No reply... I message him a day later asking him what he meant... no reply. Finally three days later he responds offering bitcoin. I ask him for the full amount of $378.01 since that's what it cost to fix his business' mistakes, and I don't want bitcoin. That seemed a little sketch to me. He said "You never contacted me one time I am there 3 days a week." I responded and explained that I had been dealing with Cory/Corrie, and up until the other day when I spoke to him I didn't know Dustin existed! No reply... I message him 7 days later... no reply. I message him 6 days later... no reply. So I'm writing this review as this has gone completely unresolved.
This business has offered no apology, and has made minimal attempt to resolve this issue. I am a kind patient polite person, and would never be visibly angry towards staff of a store. This ended up being a comedic story that cost me about $400! read more
