We were at this place about a year ago when it was called ABC restaurant. It was really great then,…read moreservice and food were both excellent, but today the service is still great, but the food quality is lacking huge. We got hot Turkey sandwich and pork chops. Turkey was chewy and cold, served on bread that wasn't even coated in gravy. Pork chops were very thin and over cooked, one was actually burnt and the veggies that came with it are boiled and gross. Then to top it off we had a few beers with out meal which they are over priced at $7.25 each.... They better Improve things or they'll be in trouble.

The smoothies were just the thing for us on this hot 28° September day. They were thick and very flavourful. We decided to try some naan because they had several to choose from. It was okay but the naan we selected was pan fried and not as good as regular naan. Service was immediate and very friendly. The lady who took our order seemed genuinely pleased that we enjoyed our order. This is primarily food from India but you can also order traditional fast food, from hamburgers to onion rings. I suppose that it wouldn't do to be too specialized in a small community like Devon. We only had a small sample of the food but we would definitely return. I should add that this restaurant is new. They opened August 2024.

I don't think they do a buffet any longer, but they did have a lunch menu for us where you could choose naan (butter or garlic), rice (basmati or saffron), and two mains (including several vegetarian). The veg korma and shahi paneer were both tasty, but we found our dishes lacked heat/spiciness which was disappointing. Service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the amount of food was good that I even took some to go as leftovers. Just wish the flavors had lived up to my memory. I'd still come back again with updated expectations.

In fact the lovely waitress made a great recommendation as we were ordering. Originally we were ordering 2 butter chickens with varying heat levels when she recommend we choose a different dish the. We would have a selection of each of the types of dishes. So we did. Everything was amazing. Great food and service. There were several skip the dishes or Uber eats picking up orders. The Aloo Ticki (potato creation) was surprising how well liked it was by everyone, a tame flavor but filling. We also got some samosas - vegetable, beef and chicken. I always love a good vegi samosa. And the lentil dishes were fantastic, I would highly recommend those! Dal tadka and Dal makahni. Vegetable Hakka noodles were super similar to like a Chinese noodle dish so nothing special but an easy crowd pleaser. There was also a Mixed Vegetable like curry dish that had a super kick but I loved it!
