We scheduled an appointment. - I got a call back two days later at 11PM from a private number, from a gentleman claiming it was filed as an emergency cleaning. - Another cleaner called me the morning of the appointment, to verify. He showed up in a lawn care van with NY plates. - He stated that he didn't restretch carpets. Also, that he was expecting to clean the carpets THAT DAY (I wanted an estimate for the whole job, not someone to do only half of it) - His estimate for cleaning only was more than DOUBLE what I ended up paying for the whole job. Also, it had the logo/details of a third company, different from both this one and the Lawncare business, (Empire cleaning, I think) out of NYC. So, in short, I asked for an estimate and I got someone from out of state using a different name, who couldn't do the work needed but still tried to convince me to pay way too much to get the job halfway done.
