The problem here is that the fast lanes are not always open. If I'm going in there for a few things I just want to go in and go out quickly. I grocery shop there all the time but in the morning I walk in to just grab a canned coffee drink and go to work. The past two times fast lanes were not open and only 1 register was open, which there have been customers with carts full of groceries. So unlike before with self-checkout where I was in and out in a couple minutes, I'm waiting for upwards of 10-12 minutes just to buy one thing. If theft was a concern and that is why you got rid of self-checkout, I'm not sure if you made the right decision to try and solve the issue. Instead to combating theft, you only punished the customer. Invest in lost prevention, not Fast Lanes that are not open all the time. I'll continue to shop with you because your employees are friendly and polite and have a great selection of product. You guys do a great job and that is what those 3 stars are for. Solve the issue with faster checkout and you'll earn those other 2 stars.
