-- Great Selection, Even Better Customer Service! I genuinely enjoy visiting and supporting Butch's Gun World. They have a huge selection of handguns and rifles, a solid variety of accessories, and some great deals on reliable ammo. Their online inventory is even more extensive, and one thing I really appreciate is their ability to make certain firearms NJ-compliant before selling them to you, thanks to their FFL licensing. They also mentioned that if something isn't listed on their website, chances are they can source it and give you a price. That's a huge plus! And you certainly can't complain about the reduced sales tax! What really sets Butch's apart, though, is the customer service. The guys are knowledgeable, straightforward, and take the time to explain things in layman's terms, often using examples to help you understand. They're serious about what they do, but they have a great sense of humor, too. Most importantly, we've never once felt pressured into buying anything. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. My friend purchased his Kimber 2K11 here, and I ended up buying mine shortly afterward from another store because it was about $300 cheaper out the door. But looking back, I'd gladly spend a little more at Butch's for the experience, knowledge, and customer service they provide. That kind of service is worth supporting. My firearms hobby (or obsession at this point ) is only going to grow, and I genuinely look forward to continuing to give Butch's Gun World my business. Great people, great selection, and an overall great experience. Highly recommend! read more

This shop is exactly what you'd hope a gun shop would be. Great selection, nice customer service and fair prices. Highly recommend.

Butch's Gun World is a fantastic local shop. From the moment I walked in the team greeted me warmly and took time to discuss what I needed without any pressure. They took care of me and answer all my questions. If you value knowledgeable service and a trustworthy shop, this is the place. read more

The service is great . The people are honest to the point where they will guide you to a less expensive firearm if it means it's a better fit for you, as they did in my case . But they will also give you a nudge if you still need to convince yourself to buy something a little nicer lol. Everyone knows a lot and between them all there bond to know just about everything. read more

I brought my first gun here at Butch's gun world. Very nice and family oriented business. I have checked a few gun stores before I went here and they had a amazing selection for a very nice price as well. I ended up buying a Sig sauer p320 m17. The previous owner made changes to the gun as well so it was a upgraded gun too. Had all the paperwork for it came with 3 mags what more can you ask for! read more

Love it here! Bought my first gun here over 20yrs ago... and I keep coming back. After my first purchase I've bought several more firearms from there. Always very knowledgeable and you're guaranteed a good conversation too. Recently I've returned and purchased my second Glock and looking to pickup my Mossberg 500, Hi-point 9mm, and ammo for all the above including an AR I'm buying this weekend. No matter what I'll always check with Butch's to try and give the the business.... read more

I have been dealing with Butch for over 30 plus years. He and his staff are knowledgeable and honest guy's. Always go out of their way to satisfy and accommodate the customer. And yes, I could go else where and get what I want cheaper, but Butch is personalize service. I fell out of a tree Deer Hunting, broke my 1187 Shot Gun in the fall. Took it back to Butch where I bought the shotgun. He wrote up a work order, sent it back to the company and I got a new gun, no questions asked! That wouldn't happen at Dick's or Cabelas. Personalized Service! CK Dorothy,NJ read more

Very knowledgeable staff with two informative and helpful gunsmiths. Bought my first pistol there and they walked me through the whole process. Pretty robust selection, despite the store size, new and used shotguns, rifles, revolvers and automatics. read more

Well here is an honest non-biased review. Butches feels like a nice small shop when you walk in but wow what an amazing gun selection they have they pretty much have every gun you can think of for all spectrum of shooters. But everything you see at their store you could find for cheaper in other gun stores in the area. I ordered a gun online and wanted it shipped to Butches but their transfer fee is outrageous 90 dollars!! As per the Gun rack in Vineland charges only 30 dollars. Do your reaserch Butch is a good shop but you could find everything they have cheaper. Just a note if your trying to save money read more

Been in South Jersey all my life and I've never got a better deal for trade in or purchase from any body else that can rival Butches' prices. I recommend him to anybody. read more

Recently took up shooting as a hobby. Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable and friendly (even to a newbie). They sold me a gun that was right for me, and not just the most expensive gun in the store (because i would not have known any different). I've purchased two guns from here thus far. Highly recommend this store. read more
