Greyhound Bus Lines - Dirty seats that haven't been cleaned in YEARS

Delayed for 8 hours. Not kept informed and only constantly told a bus was coming. Terrible service…read more Do not use them!! Was told on the phone that we would be compensated and then after submitting a claim, they just keep refusing any sort of compensation. Horrible company.

Greyhound is absolutely beyond awful. I started riding it between NYC and Atlantic City in 1990…read more It was pretty good then, especially the NY to AC leg. The AC to NY leg was never very reliable. But service decayed materially over time. They were constantly late to the point that it was almost NEVER on time. I mean EVER. In NY, there's a big ticket office, so you used to be able to go in and ask WTF was going on. Sometimes, they actually knew. In recent years, the line seems to have just about collapsed. You can't call any number to find out the status of your grossly delayed bus and there are very few places where there are humans at your departure location. Call the 800 number? Can't (actually won't) help you. Don't know anything. It's as if they think you are stupid. It's pretty obvious that they know where every one of their buses are just due to GPS technology. If a valuable bus went missing I promise you they'd know exactly where to find it. It's also common sense to know with absolute certainty that every depot from which buses are dispatched have telephones and actual "dispatchers". Forget about that track my bus tech they have on their site. it will NEVER help you find out why your bus is late or when it will arrive from the point of origin. EVER. Finding out where a one hour late bus is should not be a problem AT ALL. There should be a way to make an 800 call to someone who could call a depot and speak to a dispatcher. BUT NO..... And let's not forget about the condition of the buses. Seats frequently broken. Buses typically filthy. Drivers commonly angry and harsh. I've come to conclude that Greyhound views their typical passenger as lower class powerless people who can't do anything to harm them. And with all the degraded service - fewer buses scheduled included - they nearly doubled the price!!!!! I've found using the government run NJ Transit buses far more satisfying. They are clean and not broken. The WiFi actually works, unlike GH which is hit or miss - mostly miss. They are mostly on time and get you there more reliably even with a stop or two. if they are late, you can find out why and when to expect arrival. they are cheaper. They have a senior discount. I suspect this is what happens when elected officials who are answerable to the people run the line. Unless aggravation and being treated as a subhuman is your bag, stay the heck away from GH. It's a wonder they are still in business.

Boardwalk Tram Service - Atlantic City - Trams getting ready to head to the boardwalk

The best attraction and service on the boardwalk is absolutely the tram service. The trams run from…read more10AM -10PM daily and cover the entirety of the boardwalk. $13 gets you an all day color coded wrist bracelet pass where you hop on and off as many times as you'd like. They also only accept credit or debit cards and will collect payment at the start of your first ride. They also still accept cash tips at the front of the tram. All of the drivers and assistants were pretty friendly and accommodating especially to older passengers or families with children.

Sorry to say it is 2 years later and the Tram service has gotten WORSE:…read more1. There needs to be MORE and frequent Trams, minimum 8 ( 4 each way ) 2. The $8 all day pass is a rip-off because you will spend most of the time waiting and waiting for a TRAM with available seats. 3. There are more and more slightly disabled senior citizens riding the Tram ALL DAY with the all day pass as if it was a Tour Bus. 3. The crew wastes time because at EVERY STOP the back-crew member has to keep going to the driver for money change and day passes (is there a lack of trust thing going on here?) 4. There is no way to alert driver you want to get off...Not everyone is going to a Casino.. I want to write I will never use it again but I have back pain and need to use it. This is a prime opportunity for another Tram company to provide competition
