Office staff at front desk spectacular. Dental hygenists friendly, but preachy. Dr. Bussiere the worst dentist ever. He comes across as a little arrogant and overly preachy with elaborate and convoluted explanations about office procedures. Always late for appointments, cancels appointments to "go on vacation" at last minute, has done fillings that hurt weeks later and end up in expensive root canals (where he makes money off of the crown and fitting). Continues time after time again to force "deep pocket gum cleansing" despite my reservations and/or doubts and the fact that this procedure is not empirically proven to work in any clinical trials. He clearly just wants to make plenty of money of off your insurance company or straight from the pockets of your family. This shows lack of concern or care for me as a struggling, working parent who cannot afford such an expensive procedure. In addition, I asked my previous dentist about the procedure and he said it is unecessary, often painful, and expensive. I asked Dr. Bussiere if it was painful and he said no (Google it!). By the way, while I was at the receptionist desk last summer, I overheard another patient telling Dr. Bussiere that the last time she had the procedure done, it was extremely painful and she did not want to continue (it is performed one quadrant at a time...multiple office visits!). I couldn't help but question why this procedure is being pushed on every member of my family, as well as obviously many other patients. Dr. Bussiere calls it "preventative" care, but again there are NO clinical trials to prove this is a healthy and necessary preventative procedure. BEWARE, he clearly wants your money at your pain and your expense! I do not want a doctor to care about his pockets more than his patients EVER!!! read more
