I needed a 20 inch tube for my roomate's bike. I picked one up, but when I got home, my roommate told me it was the wrong size. The diameter was 2.25 and he needed 3 for his fat tires. He called him, and said "I just bought a tube but I need a 3 inch diameter, do you have those in stock?". The owner said "No, it will expand." Obviously we were skeptical. He said "Try it, if it blows out I'll give you your money back". So we blew it up, and went for a ride. The tire went flat. We blew it up again, it went flat. We had to walk home. I went back into the store, and the owner tried EVERYTHING to make this dumb event my fault. "There must be something in your tire" he said first. No, I'm not having that, you said it would expand and tubes don't do that. That's why they have sizes. "Well you blew it up too much" he said. YOU SAID IT WOULD EXPAND, THAT'S WHY WE CALLED YOU. WE HAVE TO BLOW IT UP MORE THAN IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE. Now I'm yelling and getting really angry. "Well it didn't blow out, it's leaking air because of (insert another excuse here)" he says. OMG, the tire doesn't work because you're an idiot, why does it matter whether it blew out or not. IT DOESN'T WORK FOR THIS BIKE LIKE WE TOLD YOU ON THE PHONE. seriously? getting angrier. Then, he has the audacity to say "So you blew it up and then what?". I said "We went for a ride. It went flat". He literally says to me "Well, you shouldn't have ridden on it". "What?" I said "You said to try it." He says "Yeah I said try it, not ride on it". At this point of utter ridiculousness, I am done. I didn't buy an inner tube to look at and I didn't do anything wrong. He has a lot of products that I was going to buy but now I will never step foot in there again. He's not even nice or helpful when you're buying something. If you ask a question he says "I dunno, try it". What's the point? He obviously doesn't want anyone to shop there. If other people have great experiences there, I would say it must be a discrimination thing because I NEVER have in the 5 or so times I've been.

Last year I had Olympia put Salomon Prolink Classic Access bindings on my skis. A few days ago,…read moreone of the bindings broke (I'd stay away from these bindings), causing a ski to fall off and a walk back to the car. I took it into Olympia. They said it was defective and couldn't be repaired. They also said that since I didn't have the receipt, and they had lost records of past sales, they could offer me only new bindings at full price (with free labour). I'd been going to Olympia since the late 90's, but never again. (I gather they have new owners. It doesn't seem the Olympia of Lindsay and Scot.)

So to make other more unique flavors like Salted Caramel or Burgundy Cherry into soft, creamy, easy to lick or eat was excellent for me. I picked "Maple Walnut" flavor of hard ice cream with Reese's chocolate and watched it go into the machine to make it soft. The cool thing here is that you pick a flavor and a candy and I picked Reese's chocolate. It all gets squished and mushed together in the machine to give you a unique soft ice cream! My combination on a cone was delicious! Definitely an awesome concept!
