I just called since we had not heard from them and they said they finished the evaluation on 5/30 (day after we took the books in) and they said since we didn't respond they gave us store credit of $57.00 and the cash price would have been $27.00. There were books worth over $100 used and they were going to give us only .25 per book. This is a ripe off. It might be a good place to buy books but don't sell your books to them.

I have shopped at this store a few times now I'd say about 3 times since I moved to this area. The first time I shopped the manager lied to me about some random deals they had and said they would give me like 40% off if I signed up for like these three promotions they had. They told me the second I left the store I could cancel all these promotions with no problem! Well they lied one of them was easy to cancel and the other two took me about two weeks to get canceled. When I went back into the store and brought this up they lied to my face saying they had no clue it would take that long. My friend who purchased with me that day ended up returning her items and they were so rude. The manager kept pushing that she should exchange them and refused to give her the full amount that she payed back to her even tho she had her receipt and they were all unopened brand new items. She ended up getting such anxiety from the guy that she just took what he could get and left. The last time I shopped there my same friend called the store to ask if they had a certain item in stock! The associate on the phone was beyond rude to her. She asked if they had it and his response was " yes they release today" she then just wanting to confirm that the item was in the store on the shelf asked " okay! So it's on the actual shelf in stock? " the guy responded " yeah I just said that " and continued to go off about how customers never listen to anything he says. She proceeded to tell him that was a bit rude she was just asking a question and hung up. When we arrived at the store the manager was out stocking items he came out with a huge box and threw it down on the floor right next to my friend and gave her a glare. Also while I was just looking at the pops he came up right behind me and I mean like where I could feel his breath on the back of my neck and yelled "excuse me" I legit screamed because it scared me so much and he just walked off. When I finally checked out the manager tried to force the sales on me again and when I said no his whole demeanor changed slamming my item on the counter and not speaking to me again even when I said "thank you so much!" After paying. Honestly idk who let these people run this store but it's the most rude customer service I've ever seen and that's coming from someone who works in customer service myself. Idk who peed in these guys Cheerios but if you are looking for a good experience shopping wise you damn well won't find it here. I say stay clear.

I had never been in here before..AWESOME!!! Truly AWESOME!!! It is open and airy in an older building. The floors are nice hardwoods (original I am assuming from the age of the building) with artwork hanging everywhere on all wall and flat surfaces..There are some really nice "extremely old and delicate books" and they were very cheap...also some nice books organized throughout the shelves.. There are records both 45s and albums...really just a great collection of used/new hard to find and considered rare items..I will definitely visit here again. I really thing anyone would enjoy this shop. It is bright and colorful with all the artwork and it is for sale as well..
