We have been going here for probably 10 years whenever we go down to the lake. There are two parts to Catherine's: the market and the cafe. The market always has fresh vegetables, meat, fruit, etc. They also have a variety of wines. They have a decent amount of the necessities that you would need, but not a huge variety of choices because it's a smaller market. Be prepared because it is a little pricey. You're going to pay more here than you would say Publix for the same thing. The Cafe is wonderful. This is 90% the reason we go. Their bakery has a wide variety of muffins and sweet treats (the Heath cookie is awesome). I have eaten here hundreds of times for breakfast and lunch. Their breakfast is phenomenal. I usually get the French toast (my favorite) or one of the omelettes. For lunch I love the ranch bacon chicken panini or the chicken salad. We've dined at the cafe many times and have always been pleased. There is a nice patio outside if you want to eat there as well. The employees are always friendly and welcoming.
