Used this company while my normal company was booked for an event in our area. It was such a busy weekend and everyone was booked. In the middle of booking a limo bus, it was reserved. I paid for the next avaible bus which was an executive bus. I will share that this is NOT what arrived at the time of our event. Our trip reservation was chartered out to the NOLA tour company and a tour bus was sent. I will say they rectified my concerns afterwards but overall I didn't appreciated receiving something I had not ordered for homecoming transportation. Good option for a relaxing return airport transfer. I wanted to save time with the hassle of getting a taxi or rideshare on my return back to the airport and splurge a little bit on my birthday trip so I opted for car service. I made reservations about a week before for an early pick up. I got a quote fairly quickly and booked my return journey from the French Quarter to the Airport. I got a message a couple days to confirm my pick up and since New Orlean's airport is not crazy busy like it is in Austin, I was able to bump the time for pick up a little later in the morning to get a little more sleep. The ride back was perfect. We got a SUV pick up that came about 5 minuites early to make sure they were on time. The ride was fantastic - a black Escalade SUV is always comfy especially with the bumpy streets in the French Quarter. The driver was very friendly and we all had a great conversation that was stress free back to the airport. If you can splurge a little, car service is the way to go. read more

Burton Transit nailed our rides to and from the New Orleans airport! Our driver, Darryan was perfect. Friendly and on time, he made us feel real comfortable right off the bat! Met us near our baggage claim and took my wife's suitcases to ease her walk. Very safe driver, polite, professional and knew the streets as we had to negotiate the Mardi Gras traffic. We made reservations through Burton Transit and they cancelled on us without notice. Would it not have been for a member of our group who called ahead to confirm our pickup time day of, we would never have known our transportation was cancelled. When we spoke to Burton, they claimed they had sent the cancellation notice to the email we provided, but we confirmed the email was never sent, nor did they call or leave a message. It pains me to review this company in my city. Why? Because love the city that welcomed my family and me when we moved to the U.S. I grew up and absolutely fell in love with my NOLA and now that I've relocated, I brag about my city every chance I get. My initial plan was to travel out-of-state with our party of 30+ which fell through since 4 of my nieces simultaneously were with child. I changed courses and decided to celebrate locally. Burton became a part of my plans. I called and spoke with Jen who was pleasant and we discussed the following: 1. Prívate NOLA City Tour 2. Party of 28 (later became 30) 3. Date: May 6th 4. My preference for a Spanish speaking driver/tour guide which she stated they had one. 5. Pickup date, time and location 6. Drop off location and time I was sent my reservation confirmation/receipt for $1,260.44. The next day I thought of a few additional additions such as balloons, etc. and emailed Jen at 2:54pm but I didn't get a reply until 11:05pm. She answered my questions and stated she would provide me with a quote for the additional items. I never received the quote. I called the next day (May 6th) to confirm that we would have a Spanish speaking driver and I asked if the driver could pick us up 15-minutes later due to inclement weather. I wanted to make sure my mom had ample time because of the rain. The young lady I spoke with stated that Burton Transportation does not have ANY Spanish speaking driver/tour guides. Why didn't Jen just say that instead of having me believe that they had a driver who spoke Spanish? The young lady said that she would notify the driver about picking us up 30-minutes later. I then asked, "he will pick us up, right?" She confirmed that we would get picked up at 3pm. At 2:45pm I received a text message saying that our driver was on his way. Everyone scrambled together eager to board our limousine bus...3:30pm we're still waiting. My son decided he would drive to the office but when he arrived, no one was there. He and I began calling until he finally reached someone who said that I called and canceled our tour. Needless to say, I was livid! Someone dropped the ball and ruined my plans to celebrate my mom the way she deserved to be celebrated. Why and how in the world would I cancel my mother's 80TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION??? If I canceled then ahi in the world would I receive a text message stated our driver was on his way. We spoke with another representative who began asking me a slew of questions and I could tell that she was also upset. She was upset because she knew that what happened was wrong! She was upset because of we were going through. I wish I could find my notes to shout her out. Now it's 4:30pm and we only had an hour left because we needed to be at the New Orleans cruise by 5:30-5:45pm SMH. She did everything in her power to put a smile on our faces. She found a driver to come and pick us up and I thanked her so much for doing her very best to help us. Our driver was quiet and seemed perturbed initially but he quickly pepped up once he heard how fun and exciting my crew were, lol. We laughed the entire 45-minutes to an hour!!! Our driver was such a sweet soul and he was amazing. He later said we made his day! My heart was happy had it not been for the young lady who took charge and our driver, I would have given less than a star if I could. Burton and Jen...do better. Worst service. I prepaid for a ride from airport to hotel for a group that cost me $300 and they did not show up at the airport. I called and the operator put me on hold so they could find where the driver was and after 30 minutes on hold, they hung up. I called and members of my group called and left messages and we all went to voicemail. Until now I have not gotten a call back for my refund that I emailed them ti request for. Beware of hidden fees&charges of this car service. They have charged me $150 for 10 minutes of loading time under "OT/Wait Time". Although I wanted to communicate and ask that there must be a mistake by calculating this "waiting time" and refund that extra amount, they never responded my email. Burton was absolutely amazing! I was there for Mardi Gras and needed a ride to the convention center from downtown during the parades for the ball. No one else would agree to pick me up due to the closed off roads for parades. Not only did they agree to pick me up, they arrived at an appropriately early time and the driver was amazing and knew the roads like the back of his hand. Very professional and kind. I hired them last year for our Mardi Gras ball and then again this year. They didn't make me pay for the whole time that I was in the ball, but rather only for the drop off and the pick up, so the pricing was great. On top of that, they were always early and the drivers I've had have not only been personable. They are the type of service industry workers who are committed to providing as good an experience as is possible. Oct 17, 2018 Wendy's at Causeway 1pm the driver decided to park at the door blocking the drive through line and pedestrian entrance and having plenty parking spots available. Better late then never...we visited NOLA a few weeks ago and Burton was great! I will use them anytime I go to NOLA. They're on time. They communicate in advance and send text reminders regarding pick up AND drop off. This is a family owned business as well and they made us feel very welcomed! I also found out I could contact them for transportation in ANY state and they can connect us with a ride anywhere. I usually take Uber/Lyft but the surcharges were ridiculous! Nelson was wonderful, professional, informative, and provided great background information about the area, history and challenges of living in New Orleans post-Katrina.
