The driver arrived on time, and the service to the airport was fine. But be sure to pay with cash! What they don't tell you is that if you want to use a credit card, the driver will have to call it in (not fast if you're trying to catch a flight) and you will be charged at least a $2 fee. My boyfriend and I were flying in from Hawaii on Thanksgiving day and I wanted to make sure we had transportation secured. I did my research on Yelp and thought A Plus would be the perfect match for us. I reached out through Yelp and Ms. Christi responded within 24hours. It is difficult with our time difference to get a phone conversation in and she understood that so we continued to message via Yelp. We confirmed our pick up and when we arrived I received a call from Warren, our driver. He picked us up in a large van (probably not a van, but I don't know the name of it) and we had the entire transport to ourselves. Warren was kind, professional and engaged in friendly conversation. We were charged $45 for the arrival and I had not paid yet. Warren dropped us off and Ms. Christi contacted me later for my credit card information. It was so easy and stress free. For our departure we scheduled a 5am pick up on Monday morning for $35. I prepaid when I paid for our first ride. However, at 5:10 our ride still wasn't there. Based on our first trip I figured something must be wrong. It turns out our driver had a flat tire and was stuck on the side of the road. I arranged for alternate transport after leaving a message on Yelp as well as a voicemail. Ms. Christi refunded my money for that portion of the trip before we even arrived to the airport! This is the worst transportation service I've ever used. We booked them 6 months ago. They were late picking us up at the airport. They claimed they had a flat (which I've seen a couple of other people say the same thing). We had to contact them to find out where they were and after 15 minutes they finally called us back saying they will try to have another van come get us. Taking us from the hotel to the cruise terminal they were late picking us up there as well. I asked them to have a small step stool for me to be able to get up in the van and that seemed like an outrageous request because the guy had already left the office for the day to start his runs. Don't even get me started on the fiasco of trying to get them to pick us up after our cruise to go to the airport. They wanted to pick us up at 8:15 a.m. and we can't even get off the ship until 8:30. She sent me a final message saying we would have to take a taxi to the airport because they couldn't accommodate us. Even after them being booked to take us. I will never recommend this transportation service to anyone!! read more

Our friend got sick and couldn't take us to the airport so at 1030 at night we scrambled to find a ride to the airport for a pick up at 4am! She called me back within 10 mins to confirm she had a driver available so early in the morning. They were so helpful, friendly and awesome at getting us there. After waiting on 2 canceled rides from Uber the hotel recommended A Plus. We waited about 10 minutes and Ronald came and was our driver. He was an extremely good host and driver. He told us about the places we were driving by and told us where to go for casinos. read more

Christi was extremely responsive to every question I had. I don't think you can't beat their prices! Ronald was our driver and he waited for us as a few of our party had to check bags in. Once we were outside and quickly helped all of us with our bags and even had a step stool for us. He also did us a favor of stopping at a quick store as our flight arrived around 10pm. First time to New Orleans, taking a cruise out of that port. We had time to visit Bourbon St. so we used A+ Transportation. The best service, clean, reliable and very friendly! We used them to take and pick up 12 of us from cruise terminal as well...took 2 vans, but they were there while others had to wait! We were a party of ten that needed a lift to the port. The hotel said they had a shuttle but when I got there, they didn't. So, I called A+ and they were there with two vans, and plenty of help! Ronald was very helpful with bags and gave good information on the ride to the port. When we returned, there were five of us that needed a lift back to hotel to get car. Ronald was prompt and even had someone call to know where we were located outside of the port so he could pull up to us and not make us chase him around. I will use them every time I go to NOLA! Booked them 6 months in advance for our transport from hotel to cruise port and then back to airport after cruise. Confirmed one week before trip and then again one day prior. Transport van was 1 hour late picking us up from hotel and had to contact office numerous times to get accurate time estimate when shuttle would arrive. Our return trip was a NIGHTMARE, contacted office after clearing customs and was told shuttle would be there at 930-945am, shuttle never arrived and after contacting office, was told they were running late but would be there shortly. At 1130a, shuttle pulled up to drop off passengers but stated that he could not take us to airport because he has somewhere to go. Contacted office and it went straight to voicemail. Had to secure another company to make our trip to airport. read more

Get ready for a long one! I contacted the company year in advance and closer to our cruise. We had 15 people in our group for a cruise. We also scheduled a trip to bourbon st for 12 people, but only 10 ended up going. The 10 that went were crammed into the van, sitting on top of each other. Warren was a great sport with our shenanigans though. The next morning I called concerned about seating and luggage for 15 people to the cruise port. She assured there would be no problem, which there wasn't with the big van and a mini van. The owner told me to call once we got off the ship, which I did. She said to call again once we made it through customs. I called again, she said Warren just went on an airport run and would be 20-25mins and would call me back shortly with a ETA for sure. An HOUR later I tried calling the owner and got her voicemail. Tried calling again a few minutes later, yep voicemail. Warren shows up 30 MORE minutes later to drop off the airport people. Just him in the big van. There was absolutely no way we could fit in there let alone our luggage. He called the owner to check if it was just him on this run, and he was. He said he would take half and come back to get the rest. If he did that, the ones left would have had to wait 45 more minutes. There just happened to be another shuttle service waiting at port that could take us all and our luggage in one trip. So we opted out of A plus transportation for the horrible service we received. We did not take it out on the driver Warren, it was not his fault. Epic fail on the owners part. She should have said she couldn't provide the services she said she would, instead of ignoring my phone calls. I gave 2 stars, since we did get good service to the cruise port but that was it. read more

We used A+ Transportation twice during our trip to NOLA. They picked 10 of us up from the airport and they even made a special stop for us at a bakery to pick up a pre-ordered birthday cake before we got to our hotel. The driver was very nice and accommodating. On the second trip, it was raining and we weren't sure on the exact time that we were going to need to be picked up. The driver just told us to call when it's almost time and he will let us know when he was outside, so we didn't have to wait in the rain. After we got back to the hotel, one of the members of my group realized that he left his cell phone in the van. We called the driver and without hesitation he volunteered to turn back around from 2 miles away. I am very happy with the service of this company. read more
