We had SO MUCH FUN on our wedding day, thanks to them, and experienced zero stress. They're a blast to work with, and everyone who's seen our pictures and heard about our "pop-up wedding" has been impressed and enthralled with the whole concept. I'm so glad I read about it, because it really is an innovative compromise between the big traditional wedding and the courthouse elopement. We knew that neither of us wanted the former, but I also knew that aesthetics are important enough to me that I wouldn't have been totally happy with the latter either. A pop-up wedding was perfect for us. Other awesome things: - We got our wedding pictures the next night! It was crazy, and such a nice surprise! My husband and I got married by Steven at the Blue Jacket Brewery in DC in May 24, 2019. Before planning our wedding with Pop! Wed, we considered having a big wedding with our family and friends in our home state, WV, but the idea of spending more than $5,000 for a wedding made us sick. After sharing the idea with our close friends and family, we decided Pop! Wed was the BEST decision. Well 6 months later, I'm proud I made the decision to book our wedding with Pop! WED. Maggie and Steven were so accommodating to our needs and answered every question and concern I had. I was not disappointed with our experience and I had to do it again I would definitely keep Pop! I guess I didn't respond in a time that was convenient for her? The messages that followed seemed really pushy and a bit rude. I said that I no longer needed the services and she called me "Stupid." Personally, I had to do what's right for myself and the energy wasn't right so I didn't want to book. It's as simple as that and my decision should have been respected as a customer. Glad I followed my gut because I know officiants can't legally charge more than $50 for the service but this company quoted me $100 for some obscure travel fees. Edit: I added a screen shot of her calling and two angry voicemails later...threatening to sue me if I don't take down my review. Personally, I'm not even mad or upset.
