I interviewed many roofing companies and decided on Revolution for several reasons. First and foremost, Andrew and his team discovered issues with my roof that other roofing companies had failed to point out. I had a drainage issue with an almost completely flat portion of the roof. Andrew and his team came up with a solution that will prevent pooling and drainage issues in the future. Second, Andrew was quick to respond to questions and gather answers and information necessary for me to make an informed decision. Other companies failed to respond in a timely manner, if at all. Third, Andrew and the team took time to come out and visit the house several times prior to replacement, take pictures, have meetings formulating a plan, and developing a solution for a roof that will last for decades. Once the replacement began, the team started early and worked late, to ensure the process moved quickly. Each night the roof was secured to protect from any possible rain that might occur through the evening. They were in constant contact with me, either by call or text, sharing pictures, to inform me of situations they found as they uncovered the old roof, and offered different solutions for my opinion on how to correct them. As the job came to a close, the team quickly cleaned up all debris. Andrew made a site visit once the crew had left and spent time looking for any nails or materials that may have been missed. You're not gonna have surgery without a 2nd opinion, so don't let someone work on your house without one either. The gentleman, Steve, on the phone was personable and pleasant. Told me they could have Hunter out this morning. Same day service .... Impressive!!! I had told Steve the story they had told me about hail storm in June 2024, Hunter took the time before coming to do his homework to let me know it was actually July. He went up and I could hear him moving about the roof, he even brought down a remnant of a previous solar pool heater that was left up there when I had full solar put in. He let me know what I already knew, my roof is fine, has some years left in it and the door knocking company was blowin smoke for an insurance payday (my words not Hunter's). Hunter was an absolute joy to have around, my dog loved him, he's funny, has an awesome personality, is personable and direct about what he sees up there. Even told me he'd bring down pictures if he did see anything. The door knocker didn't show me squat. Gravity has thoroughly earned their 5-Star rating. He uses the same brand of shingles as the two other estimates I requested, and his price was very reasonable. He also did the roof on a West Volusia Habitat for Humanity house and the project manager was impressed with the work his crew did. Because of the backlog, I waited almost five months for the work to be done. The job was completed in November 2018 and we have not had any problems with the roof or the three skylights they installed.

After installation, the first heavy rain showed the exact same pooling in the exact same spot. We have photos from multiple rain events showing the water level looks identical to before any work was done. To their credit, every installer who came out was friendly and professional. But every single one of them said the same thing: a French drain was not the right solution for our situation. That's their own team telling us this. What followed was being passed between sales reps and installation crews with no resolution. The most recent response from a supervisor was a new proposal -- recommending gutters and a sump pump. While the system may function, we were very disappointed with the condition in which our properties were left. Sod replacement was haphazardly done and our yards were left with construction debris, bottle caps, and cigarette butts scattered about. We refused to sign the completion when asked as we could not agree with most statements about the condition of the properties. When a supervisor arrived the day after "completion," he agreed that the lots were left in a condition he described as "unacceptable and shoddy." He returned the next day with a crew member to clean up. We hope the drain works as promised.
