He said Cindy I want you to take your credit cards and put them in a baggie with water and put them in the freezer. So I did. It was very hard to learn no charging all cash. But I did it. Thank you for that so much. I am giving him 5 stars for honest job . If you need a Bankruptcy Attorney he is the one. I will watch every penny I spend from now on. Thank you Ken.

After the free consultation call I felt confident that Mr. Parker was the right attorney for me. He helped determine that I was eligible for Chapter 7. He made me feel comfortable and explained everything about the bankruptcy process in a clear and concise way that I understood, without all the confusing legal jargon one might expect from the court system. I lived with a lot of shame as a result of my debt. After meeting with him the first time I was able to provide a huge box of bills that had piled up over the years and he painstakingly went through every single document to compile my bankruptcy petition. As of yesterday, all of my debt has been discharged, and I'm very pleased by Mr. Parker's services. I'm finally free of the burden of excess debt and happy to have a clean slate! I would highly recommend Mr. Ken Parker if you're considering filing bankruptcy.

Legal troubles are never fun, and the process of finding and retaining a lawyer less so. Google…read moresearch any given lawyer and you'll find endless half-literate horror stories from people who lost their cases and blame their attorney for it, with allegations that would serve as inspiration to a Mafia don. In my situation, I was having issues with a collector that was harassing my wife and I day and night over the course of years in an effort to try to collect an invalid debt. Even the company to whom I supposedly owed the initial debt to agreed it was erroneous, but the debt had already been sold. In any case I knew my rights but didn't think I had any actual recourse. It got to a point where they started up with their chest-thumping litigious nonsense on an already bad day for me and I retained Mr. Clapp as counsel to put an end to it. Though I initially saw the words "bankruptcy lawyer" and overlooked him, the problem fell within his domain and thus I have absolutely no regrets about hiring him. During our scheduled appointments, he was courteous and professional, and well-versed in all aspects of this particular field of law (credit law? I don't know what it would technically be). Unlike some of the other attornies I talked to, his office didn't look like Saul Goodman's-- it was clean, modern and professional (some places I went to were just dingy and gross-- I don't tolerate sloppiness from someone who might have to represent me in court). Anytime I had a question, he had an answer, or got back to me with one shortly, and even managed to fix a few other minor issues I was having that other attornies I had talked to said was either impossible or something I would have to do on my own. A few sternly-worded letters from Mr. Clapp put an end to this particular collector's campaign of harassment, and the few times I've had follow-up questions in terms of mitigating the damage done to my credit by this collector, he has been more than helpful. I really cannot recommend Mr. Clapp enough-- if he was willing to go so far above and beyond for my minor legal request, if I ever filed bankruptcy, I'd definitely be going to him with my case.

Even though he was not going to get my business, he still discussed strategies to improve my credit and helped me formulate a plan of action. Honestly, I wish I had the option of choosing 10 stars as a review option because I cannot say enough about Charles and CMC. It was more than evident that Charles actually cares and wants to help without anything in return - this is rare in the day in age we live in now. I encourage anyone to utilize Charles and CMC! After everything went totally silent for 20 days I called the office twice and was told that everything had been filed and all that remained was for the Judge to sign off. I was not comfortable, because it was taking so long, and made an appointment to actually go into the office to further inquire. I was floored when they told me that the paperwork had not been filed!!! Absolutely no action for 20 days!!! I asked the reason and was told "it was lost or overlooked." I had to then sign new documents and was told they'd be rushed. At this point I lack trust in this firm and will most definitely go back to the office to see tangible evidence. I have a serious medical condition and now cannot pay the expenses due to this firms oversight. Hopefully they'll investigate to find out WHO dropped the ball, WHY and how to PREVENT it happening to someone else. I've never heard of a law firm losing or forgetting to file documents with the courts. I'm going to wait until weeks end (they told me all would be done by 7/26) then go back to visit them to verify. Stay tuned as I will update this review accordingly.

I signed the requisite forms to be filed and was told that it would be filed and all would be take just a few days. Well, three weeks went by and I'd heard nothing. I called the trustee and was told that nothing had reached their office, from the court. I proceeded to call Clark and Washington and was told that the work order had been submitted and to await the Judge to sign off. Couple of more days went by and I called again to be told the same thing. I waited another couple of days then called and made an appointment in the office of Clark and Washington. This was on day twenty (7/22/19). I was then informed that the motion had indeed not been filed as it was overlooked or was lost. I was shocked that a reputable law firm could allow that to happen. I expected them to file the motion as they stated they would do. Again, up until now they did a good job for me. But I cannot accept that they failed to do what was requested AND the only way I found out was to physically go to their office. Hopefully Clark and Washington will identify where the breakdown occurred that allowed this to happen. It's a learning opportunity and an opportunity for them to review their personnel and processes in order to improve both such that a client is not left hanging as I was. So, here I sit twenty days after requesting the motion be filed. I was sir assured it would be filed NOW and a rush requested. But at this point I plan to physically visit them again to be sure. I learned that phoning their office resulted in incomplete information.
