After I signed on in April 2021, nothing has been done on my case in terms of negotiations. When I signed on with the law firm, everything had been done in terms of medical care and all they had to do was negotiate the bills for settlement. I called and/or emailed in June 2021 to see where they were with my case and was talked to by Chris as if I was a child or illiterate which neither is the case. I hold a MBA and asked pertinent questions about my case only to find out that nothing had been done at all, I was told they were still trying to obtain my medical bills. I then got on the phone and 2 hours later, I got all of my medical bills and emailed them to them on the same day. I spoke with Kaleigh this morning to find out if they now were in negotiations with the insurance company since they now had everything and I was told by Kaleigh that they still needed my medical records. I fired them today and went with another law firm and received my medical records within 15 minutes of requesting them. After I fired them via email, I received a email back from Chris Sratsny stating that they would be placing a lien against my case for work that was done which is laughable. A lien can't be placed unless they were in active negotiations with the insurance company with an offer having been made. The lien will be tossed out due to it being invalid. Please don't sign up with this law firm if they assign Chris Statsny to your file as he gets mad and talks down to you if you have questions or question him on what is being told to you. As a client, I shouldn't have to chase you down to find out what is going on with my case. I am sure that everyone else with the firm are amazing due to the excellent reviews but my experience with Chris hasn't been a pleasant or fruitful experience. Customer Service and being pleasant with your clients is not high on Chris list.

I was paying full rent while dealing with major issues, including having no usable oven and no access to the master bathroom, among other problems. Despite these conditions, rent continued to accrue with no abatements. This company assisted me with preparing and filing my papers in federal court to pursue my housing-related claims. That filing opened the door for negotiations in dispossessory court. Once the landlord realized I was prepared to fight and pursue the matter further, they became willing to negotiate. As a result, I received three months of free rent, 37 additional days to vacate, and an agreement to have the filing on my CIC report sealed.
