Food = 5 STARS
Service = 2 STARS
To the management team...... your food is always excellent. Fair price, good portion, freshly made, really good food. For me, 5 stars.
However, your service and friendliness = 1 STAR at best. Take your staff over to Chic-fil-A for a meal and have them observe the interaction of their staff as you enter the property
The young lady who greeted us at the door had ZERO smile, there was nothing welcoming or friendly about her. She literally guided us to a booth, set down the menus and walked away.
Train them to give your patrons a smile, a warm welcoming greeting at the door with a "thank you for coming in.. how are you all doing this evening..." as we are being guided to the table.
Then she needs to advise... "Your server will be with you shortly, have a great dinner...."
The server was just ok, not good, thus my $2.00 tip. Yes, she did re-fill our Cokes, and yes, she did ask if we wanted to have more chips, and yes she even asked if we needed any sauces for our tacos.... all good.
However, she did so with zero smile, zero friendliness, zero personality.... and she never came back to inquire how our meal was...
Then before we were even half way done she came by the table and just dropped off the ticket and walked off.
Guess what? How about suggestive sell? I would have ordered flan, maybe some other treat but she did not bother to ask. Managers, train on suggestive sell, and I don't mean the customary "did you save any room for dessert?"
No, to increase sells her suggestive sell should have gone like this...
"how was your dinner? Hey, we have some fresh flan that we just made and it tastes amazing, can I bring you some, its really great!".
THAT is how you suggestive sell..... I would have been talked into it...
To make the diners experience better and to make us want to come back, Chic-fil-A your service..... not funeral home it! read more
