Although the main floor is home decor, on the walls near the stairs is art in another form: primarily pottery that frames the stairs leading to the art gallery. If you enter through the doors to the antique side of the building, it's an interesting dichotomy: beautiful things from a time gone past, that have lasted all these years, shown in subdued lighting befitting their age, and then the archway leading into the new, modern, brightly lit Cranberry Country Mall with its modern fare. As I walked from one section into the other, I wondered if the things in this new section would stand the same test of time as those in the section I left behind. The clothes are higher priced, but then they are quality as well. I paid for my first purchases and then paid for my second and I could here them behind me. I started putting my purchases back in my cart and the one lady came over and said I need to check your bag. I said I just purchased it and I dont steal from Walmart never have, never will. , mind you I just bout almost 400.00 worth of stuff. She said I need to look in your bag. I said really. The other clerk said its just policy. Really??? I just self checked my self while you two stood there stalking me. I said really??, she proceeded to open the snoopy bag and then asked if I wanted the paper removed from the inside, I said whatever. I dont care. Then she backed up and stood next two the other guy . I almost felt like going to Custemer service and returning the snoopy bag. When I decided to load it in my cart some other customer told me im getting coal for Christmas. Sad thing is. I spend allot of money at that Walmart. There could of been a nicer way of approaching me and saying its customer policy to check large bags, but to act accusedly as if I stole something, that's another thing. I always keep my recipt handy and am more than willing to show it at the door. But I felt like I was a target. Do better Walmart. I usually find what I need, if you dont trust your customers then close self checkout and go back to checking people out. Started with buying a gun safe and…read moreending in 3 squad cars and 3 officers joining me in getting my refund for the safe that the manager couldn't figure out how and when he did figure it out he wouldn't load it i know that sounds crazy but that's what happened I'm thinking he damaged it thats why he wouldn't load it. 3 squad cars you would think it was a bomb threat or active shooter or something.i can't imagine what the manager told the police to get them thare i was never charged with anything but was told i was not allowed back at tomah Tractor supply. 60 yr old on high blood pressure meds shopping with my girlfriend i don't carry any weapons of any kind and don't act of look threatening at all so why the police were called is crazy. My family and I have shopped at tomah Tractor supply for 20yr or better and spent 10 of thousands thare you would think we would be valued customers?? I guess not. 2 weeks after district manager calls me asking what happened why the police where called. Good question I told him i would like to know why to? He told me he would have to investigate more in to it. It's been 2 weeks and haven't heard anything and don't expect to. Don't trust the delivery times claimed. If you really need it and it's not on the shelf, I'd go somewhere else.
