The phone system needs to be repaired or replaced due to if you call they can't hear you and you can't really hear them also. The reason I know they don't work is I called them after I was overcharged. It was not a lot it was for 6.00 dollars but that is not the point. I had a really difficult time trying to work out the issue with the man on the phone and after he understood what happened he said " I can't do anything for you I just work here". The person on the phone then gave me the owners number, I called and left a message with no response. I called back a couple hours later and left a voicemail still no response. Again it's not the money amount, it's being passed off or ignored that bothers me the most. I will not say don't go there because I think you really need to see this place and all the amazing items. They need to make the phones work, one it's not safe if somebody got hurt and had to call medical attention the land line is useless. If they have a cellphone that works there then this situation should have never happened.

Super high priced and super arrogant owner…read more I love antique stores. And my wife and I spend a lot of money on antiques. We've been through every inch of antique shops in Hixton, Wisconsin. And we LOVE Hixton! I've been to Miller's several times over the years, and during my recent trip I finally concluded that my time and my money are much better spent on the other side of the freeway! I particularly like the old schoolhouse antiques...way bigger selection and way better prices and way nicer people. Miller's has some interesting stuff. But the prices are really ridiculous. You're going to pay double or triple (or more) over what you'd pay for the exact same item at another antique store or what you'd pay for the same thing on Ebay. (And that includes shipping!) Whenever I've run across the owner, I feel like I've just talked to a used car salesman and that I should run somewhere and immediately take a shower and disinfect myself. Yuck! In summary, interesting but WAY overpriced, limited selection, and weird personalities. Be patient. You'll find it way cheaper somewhere else! -Daddy Maxx Retro

I especially love when they are affordable, which the majority of the things carried here seemed to be. They rent out space to various dealers, so there's a large assortment of vintage beer steins, art deco dish sets, tin signs, ceramic figures, books and much, much more. The store is spacious and set up in no particular order. I had seen a billboard on the side of the highway that gave vague directions (get off at exits 115 or 116 and turn left). I asked if this was the antique shop featured in the ad, because I had forgotten the name, and didn't even get the entire question out before I was corrected that this was *the* antique shop. I'm not sure if the woman working there is blissfully unaware that there's another antique shop just around the corner, but she was very friendly and eager to help me find whatever I might be looking for. I told her I was just there to browse and was left alone. Some of the items seemed a bit overpriced. I'm not sure if they think some of the things are worth more than they really are or if I'm not that good at pricing collectible objects. There was a 7pc Russian nesting doll going for almost $100 (that seems to be about right as an import, but I gotta scoff at it since I was able to buy them for ~$20 in Ukraine) and a few other things that caught my attention and held my interest just long enough to flip over the price tag and quickly walk away. However, I don't know how much the owner of the shop really has to do with marking things. As I mentioned, they rent the space out to people, so it's possible each person picks their own price and I can't blame Ruxton for having items outside of my price point.

After a few months I returned to the store and did not have a problem. Last week I received a $5 voucher so I returned once again to purchase a few items. My experience this time was great. A lady by the paint desk helped me find an item that I thought was out of stock until she showed me another section the item I was looking for was in. I also bought some paint. While checking out the store employee CHAD was pleasant, helpful and professional. He asked if I needed a paint stirrer and offered me a can opener also. He made me feel like a valued customer. I shall return to ACE on a regular basis once again, bypassing Walmart. Thanks to all hands at Scholze ACE.

There's art in the traditional sense in the upstairs area, but the downstairs is devoted to other forms of home decor: floral arrangements, wall hangings, decorative paper and calendars, some dog and cat-themed goods, and toys for kids. Although the main floor is home decor, on the walls near the stairs is art in another form: primarily pottery that frames the stairs leading to the art gallery. If you enter through the doors to the antique side of the building, it's an interesting dichotomy: beautiful things from a time gone past, that have lasted all these years, shown in subdued lighting befitting their age, and then the archway leading into the new, modern, brightly lit Cranberry Country Mall with its modern fare. As I walked from one section into the other, I wondered if the things in this new section would stand the same test of time as those in the section I left behind. It's not a stately store, but it is a cute one.
