Dr. Matlach was the most thorough dentist I have ever been to, and I have been to some amazing dentists. He explained what he was looking at and why he was looking at them. He also showed me some things I could fix cosmetically and assured me my teeth looked great and we only had to do it if I wanted. The hygienist, Genene, was so amazing and gave me a lot of tips on how to care for my teeth and what can affect them. This establishment is amazing and everyone working there was so kind and helpful. I left overly satisfied with my care and will definitely be recommending it to others.

We showed up a few moments early and called to let them know we were outside. They sent out a person to take our temperatures from our car and ask us questions. He said they would call us when they were ready for us. A few moments later the called us to go in. Once we entered they asked us to use the purely from their stand up dispenser, which of course we did. My husaband and I, dawning our masks waited a few moments. We were greeted by the doctor who told us they were cleaning the room. Now they clean the room with these ghost buster looking back packs. Very exceptional in my opinion. We were called back by the lovely assistant. My husband sat in the chair with my daughter in his lap. Soon Doctor Mackey came in and suited up. She was already wearing a mask and eye protection. She suited up in a new full body smock. She put her gloves on and greeted our baby. She was so wonderful with her. Taking her time to familiarize her with her gloves, letting her play with her hands and showing her some instruments. She got a few peaks into her mouth and from what she saw all was good. She provided me with great advice on how to get her used to teeth brushing (ok bad mom here, I've been using a wash cloth in the bath to try and wash her teeth). She recommended a toothpaste and then gave us a baby brush. She was so friendly and good with Veronica. I really can't recommend this practice enough. I have been before and their cleanings are so thorough! Dr. Mackey was able to spot an infection in my tooth and send me for a root canal. This infection has been there for years and other dentists had missed it. I'd spent countless money and time going to sinus specialists and migraine doctors. Since the root canal I haven't had a migraine or nearly as bad sinus issues. Can you imagine?! This practice doesn't take DMO which my employment offered for free. I upgraded my dental plan at work and pay $70 a month for my daughter and I to have the proper coverage to see this practice. It is absolutely worth it. Also if you don't have insurance they offer private plans as well. If you've had a bad experience at a dentist, you know how important a good dentist is. Dr. Mackey and staff are fantastic dentists. I would highly recommend them. They certainly help to make me smile

Several years ago I was in a dilemma about my teeth problems. Although I had had braces as a child to correct my overbite, over the years my teeth retreated back to their original state. Now my front teeth were worn down, thin and fragile with little enamel left. The general dentists could only recommend braces and then crowns on the worn teeth. Braces for 2 year and $6,000 plus crowns at between $1,000 to $1500 a tooth. Not an inexpensive option. I went to Dr. Apfel for a consultation. He knew exactly what the problem was and what had to be done. I was assured that he did this type of correction often. Not only did he do them, he loved the challenge of doing them. He then explained the process ... the mold taking, the temporary teeth, the finite model making of the new teeth with fractional adjustment to each new crown. This finite adjustment to each crown now aligned my new teeth not to hit each time my teeth closed down. It was a long process. But it was weeks, not years. My bite is perfect. My gums are perfect. I have had several worn bottom teeth crowned as well. I am a happy patient and my smile shows it. Now the part everyone wants to know about. Yes, it is expensive. All dental work is.
