Advanced Cleaning and Restoration caused damage to my BRAND NEW, CUSTOM-BUILT cabinets (because…read moreapparently they do not know how to read a tape measure or operate a saw), they caused damage to my existing cabinets when installing the shelf over the fridge, the sink leaks because it was not sealed properly after reinstallation, there are multiple areas where the subfloor is exposed (because, again, they apparently do not know how to read a tape measure), they chipped my counter tops when removing the old cabinets, they failed to sheetrock, tape, texture, and paint the closet, nothing is level, our pipes froze after the first storm because they failed to insulate it properly, one of the brand new cabinets does not sit flush/level, and they tried to hide it with a damaged piece of poorly stained trim, they split the new, custom-stained trim around the windows and TRIED TO HIDE IT with wood putty, they roughly patched a hole in the brand new flooring by cutting out a piece that was similarly shaped, then gooping on adhesive, they failed to cut the new, laminate flooring properly and left it hanging over the vent so the register (which was left extremely dirty--much like the rest of the kitchen and dining rooms) would not sit flush, and the list goes on (and on, and on, and on . . .). -10/10, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! (Oh, and I didn't even mention that they left the windows open not once, but TWICE while it was raining and got the brand new sheetrock wet and warped the wood trim--when they were here to REPAIR WATER DAMAGE, NOT CAUSE MORE. The communication was EXTREMELY lacking, and they were very unprofessional throughout the entire process. I will absolutely be contacting my insurance company.)

They…read morereplaced a zone valve and thermostat (I asked for a programmable model, and if possible to connect it to our air conditioning we have two separate thermostats. I was not home when they completed the work, but got neither request. Not sure if they ignored request to include the A/C, or if it can't be done, since the other request was also not done. The invoice I received from them came in via email and was actually just a receipt. The price we paid was included but no breakdown of parts/labor/travel. I was curious, as the first technician was unable to complete the work and the owner ended up coming out to finish the job. Total cost was in the $600 range. Ultimately, the fix did not fix our problem. I still had heat at all times. I called Rivers Edge after hours to ask if it would be bad for the system to just turn it completely on & off until it could be fixed. The owner told me he would have to check on that and get back to me. I've never heard from him again.

Long story short. I was blown away when I received the bill for almost $700. We were charge 4.75 hours to repair four ceiling vents. Since we live across the street from this home I checked our security cameras to see just how long the tech was there. The tech came and went a couple of times and then called me to say they had to wait for a part to come in to finish the last vent. Our cameras recorded the tech at the home for a grand total of just about two hours. I called and spoke with Isabel who confirmed I was close to the actual tracking time they had done the tech at the home (based on an app). She said she would double check with the tech and get back to me. After a few days she confirmed the hours were correct - 4.75. Buyer beware. I expected this to be a few hundred dollars at most. I understand there should be time for a trip charge. But 2.75 hours at $95 an hour when the shop and supplier are perhaps 20 minutes from the home? Come on. By the way. When the tech finally returned with the needed parts for the last vent, our security camera recorded him being there ten minutes. I cannot recommend this company's services.
