I've seen two doctors at this clinic, (one who has become my family doctor) and have been very impressed by both. While it is sometimes difficult to get a receptionist on the phone, Summers Medical offers walk-in hours in addition to scheduled appointments.They even have Saturday hours! I've found wait times to be minimal and have been nothing but pleased by my doctors' visits and the care I've received at Summers Medical.

I had a regular doctor at another location and my last two visits there were not great ( I had appointments booked and ended up driving back home without seeing him . even one booked appointment I found out he was on vacation ). About a decade ago, I was injured at work and decided to stop in and see what they can do for me. I was introduced to Dr. Haroon Hamid. He took great lengths to listen and he genuinely cared about my well being. Since then , he became my personal doctor and has always been really professional and courteous. He is not one of those doctors that listens, grabs the prescription pad, makes a scribble and off you go. Thats just not him. Regardless of what others have said about the clinic and Dr Hamid , I have always found it to be the opposite. Staff are friendly and the wait times are not more than an hour ( if you do a walk in ). If you live close to this clinic and are looking for a good family doctor, this is the place I would recommend.

I've always found it easy to get an appointment with my doctor, but when she has been unavailable, I've seen other doctors at the clinic (at least four) and been comfortable with them all. Since all my charts and files are kept at the clinic, whichever doctor I see has my history there, and my regular GP can access them next time I see her. The thing I love the most about this clinic is that it is also a walk in, and my doctor reserves a couple of walk in spots a day for her regular patients. When I have had need of walk in services, I've been able to call the clinic when it opens and often get a quick visit with my doctor. I hate going to the doctor, so if I like a clinic, it's worth sharing!

Canadian Blood Services recently moved here from their location by the University of Alberta…read morehospital. I am loving the new location. Bigger, brighter, and lots more parking availability. I usually donate in the late afternoon and getting out at rush hour was never fun at the old location. Now you can jump on the Whitemud or take Gateway or Calgary Trail to make your way home, The inside is very open and airy. They have great all gender bathrooms. They are wheelchair accessible and have push button open and lock which helps with all abilities of people. The staff as usual are great. They have a huge snack counter for you pre and post-donation.
