Contacted Phillip who is the owner of Barn Wood ,came to my property gave me an estimate right on…read morethe spot for a huge project for a privacy Fence. Very sincere and gave me answers to all the questions I had. I had a few around 8 other quotes from different fencing companies. Phillip was eager to get my business and went lower on my final cost than all the other companies. I was hesitant to continue with the project once I read a a few of the comments. Now in days its a gamble and risk on any company they can show you pictures videos but not until they do the job you will know if its good or bad. I took a gamble and I'm glad I hired Phillip and his team to built my private fencing. He explained to me it would take about 3 to 4 days to get it all complete. If there would be delays it would be only due to heavy rain .Phillip and his crew showed up with all the material and started making the holes. After that 1st day that night we got heavy rain all night and the next day. Phillip called me at 8am to let me know that he will not be making it due to the rain and road conditions. I had no problem I understood. The next day Phillip and his crew showed up and started building the fence. I was very impressed at how fast and clean work they did. By the third day they were practically almost completed and just needed the final touches. I will also add that the last 2 days it was hot 96 degrees and humidity was high. I was surprised that didn't slow them down. I must give it to them they worked liked dogs to get the job done. I was happy I took the opportunity to hire Phillip & his crew. All hard workers and making sure I was happy with the results. Once the wall was completed I was happy with the quality of work and most of all the best pricing out there . I would definitely recommend to Hire Barn Wood walls Fencing & decking for any future jobs. The efficiency and work ethic was great and after all the results were great. Very beautiful job done. I will be bringing Phillip back in a few weeks to get my fence stained . Sometimes more expensive and higher reputation companies doesn't guarantee a better job, or smaller company and cheaper price doesn't guarantee a good job either. As I stated I felt that Phillip was highly experienced at his work ,and sure enough he is. I am happy with my Privacy fence.

We spent approximately $32,000 on this fence, and the quality of the finished product is nowhere…read morenear what we expected for that kind of investment. We have boards that were installed without enough nails, and some boards are already falling off. Several posts were not cut properly, leaving rails that do not sit flush. The gate has a significant gap and does not properly lock, defeating one of the basic purposes of having a fenced property. The lack of attention to detail continued throughout the project. Nails were left scattered around our property, creating a safety concern for our dogs, people, and equipment. We were also surprised when the crew arrived without the equipment necessary to move the large quantity of fence boards around our property. They asked to use our personal tractor and used it throughout the week they were here. Without the use of our tractor, it is difficult to understand how they planned to complete the job. The staining was equally disappointing. They underestimated how much stain would be required for the fence and watered down the stain in an attempt to stretch what they had. It still wasn't enough to properly complete the job. We were left with areas that are inadequately stained, an uneven appearance, and visible water marks. For approximately $32,000, we should not have boards falling off, missing nails, poorly cut posts, rails that aren't flush, a gate that is gapped and doesn't lock, nails left throughout the property, and an incomplete, uneven stain job. This wasn't an inexpensive fence where minor imperfections might be understandable. This was a major investment, and we expected professional workmanship, proper equipment, quality control, and a finished product that was actually complete and functional. Unfortunately, that is not what we received. Based on the quality of the work and our experience with this project, we cannot recommend this company. Owner said he would make it right but keeps saying he's working on larger jobs. It's a shame he took advantage of a combat wounded veteran after convincing us how important it is to complete this job professionally.

I was extremely impressed by these four individuals attentiveness of what Jeffrey was instructing them to do. Jeff had initially told me $3800 for my rather large deck plus we needed a wheelchair ramp that I thought to be impossible to build given the space of good solid ground he had to work with up the street. My mom had to have it. Her health isn't good. Jeff explained to me that there could be more added at the end depending on what took place at my mom's home. If it turned taking him the entire 5 days he allotted for my two projects the total would $6100.00 which I thought was a great deal due to the situation at my mom's. Jeff and I decided to knock my Deck out then move to my mom's. These guys were done with my deck in 2 days. But when they finished at my mom's and was packing up to leave after day 3 I was astonished. Especially when Jeffrey came to collect for the job. I paid $3,000 up front like Jeffrey asked. That would have left another $3100. When he told me all I owed was $2,000 I almost cried. Awesome man of God!
