Talk to the owner of the daycare a few times before we meet, and it's a bit hectic because spots fill exceptionally fast here, its so close to Nelson Elementary. Prices were very reasonable for before and after school care (I paid twice as much in North Burnaby for for less), and pro-D days are covered (unless there are strike days... Don't get me started). The space is divided between school aged kids on one side, and the younger ones on the other, so the toys and care are different. Huge space, large fenced back play area, support for homework, open and frequent communication... I'm thrilled with this daycare and hope to use it for many years to come.

I have two children that attend the 5th avenue location in New Westminster, a daughter in before…read moreand after school care and a son in the preschool/daycare program. They have both been attending since August 2015. They both like it there. My daughter always has good things to say about the owner, Miss Edith. She has the opportunity to work on art projects after school, which she loves. My son (who has just turned 4 years old) has been learning to read and write the alphabet and can now write his name. He has also been able to develop his artistic skills. Miss Edith is almost always available to talk to if I have any concerns or questions about the progress of my children's learning. The classrooms are very clean and well organized. There are many stimulating activities for the kids to engage in depending on their interests and level of learning. The kids have show and tell every Friday, which my son loves. He has really developed socially over the last 6 months as well. The centre is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm which works perfectly for my schedule as I work on Vancouver, which gives me plenty of time to get to work after drop-off and to get back after work even if there is a traffic jam.

The Best School with Best Care = Fraser Montessori combines and defines professionalism, quality,…read morereliability, and responsiveness that creates a bright and enriching environment for the children and parents. I am so grateful for the teachers' and owner, Ms. Edith, 's hard work at this school, especially throughout the pandemic when I had so many worries about safety. They always try their best to attend to the children's needs by providing a well-designed learning environment. My son would often come home with fun stories, arts, and practice sheets that he has gained so many social and academic skills. The teachers go above and beyond; I love the updates and photos they send in the app. Also, I love their outside playground, partly covered, so that kids can play outside even when it heavily rains without soaking in the water. My son has experienced significant advancements in his manners at home and his continued growth. Ms. Edith is a great communicator, an experienced educator, an excellent source for the parents. I am so, so grateful for Fraser Montessori. If you're looking for a daycare with great people and the best care, this is an excellent place for you and your family to check out.

My son Giuliano attended Kensington Montessori when he was 4 years old, where he was taught by Mrs…read more Athina. From the moment we walked into her classroom, it was clear how much care and dedication she put into creating a nurturing and structured learning environment. Her classroom was always neat, organized, and filled with engaging educational materials, hands-on activities, and books that supported each child's development. There were many children Giuliano's age, and it was so comforting to see how happy and excited they were to be there each day. My son truly enjoyed going and developed a love for learning early on. Mrs. Athina took the time to guide him not only academically--with early arithmetic--but also with important life skills like sharing, independence, and responsibility. Through her support, Giuliano built confidence and strong foundational skills that I am still grateful for today. I am also so proud to see her daughter, Marisa Dritsas, continue this beautiful legacy. Her Montessori classroom is absolutely stunning--bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed with natural materials and child-sized learning spaces that encourage independence and exploration. The outdoor area is just as lovely, giving children space to play, learn, and connect with nature. Marisa is calm, patient, and genuinely caring. She goes above and beyond to support each child's individual needs and learning pace. The Montessori approach is truly reflected in her work--fostering independence, creativity, and confidence in every child. I highly recommend Kensington Montessori to any parent looking for a warm, supportive, and enriching environment for their child's early education.

After completing a lengthly and outdated paperwork process to secure a spot, we provided more than 4 months notice that we would unfortunately no longer be proceeding. Despite the amount of notice, the owner refused to return any portion of our deposit. Families should be aware that this daycare has strict policies around deposits and withdrawal timelines, including terms that may force you to pay for the rest of the year even when you are gone. There is ZERO flexibility or reasonable consideration given, even with significant advance notice. I also felt the enrolment process relied on unnecessary pressure. We were given a short window to sign the contract and pay a non-refundable deposit, with the implication that there are other families ready to take the open spot. This dynamic makes it difficult to properly review all the terms before committing. I would strongly encourage any parent considering this daycare to read every policy carefully before paying a deposit and giving them post-dated cheques (which is also a requirement).

My child is only 19 month and she took the chance to let her discover and learn, without teaching her with patience. After circle time that teacher stood up walking with out care and bumped into my child and kicked her into a very sharp table corner, dented her forehead and my child started bleeding. The whole classroom wasn't protected, but right after this happened they started to put up all the protection for sharp corners......I was very upset and disappointed. The principal also called me after, but her phone call made me felt worse, and she said she was going to check back with me and I never received another phone call from her! My child has a scar on her forehead and the dent is still there after more than a month. I have taken my child to many daycare and community center, and we are still waiting to be called on a few wait list, since this school has opening, I thought I could take her there for the time being, but This is the worst school we have been to, and I suggest moms that wants to apply think twice, because they are very unprofessional. If this system could let me choose no star, I wouldn't have given one!
