My boys take martial arts there as well and it is a great program. Monthly fees a pretty high...many fitness centers in the area charge less that half. Overall the gym was very clean and organized. There was a small area with some lighter free weights and random equipment, and then the rest of the gym had a variety of more free weight, cardio and weighted machines. I did add a lot of chairs are the gym where people relaxed which I have not seen at any other gym. The windows in the back show off the pools that the location have, which during the time I went looked like there was a class going on. The bathrooms threw me off. When you walk in there are individual bathrooms for people to shower and use the toilet on the side, and if you walk straight it takes you to the lockers and door to the outdoor pool. What was weird was the camera in there. I have never seen a camera in the general locker bathroom area so that was strange. Even though the toilet was private it still felt weird being watched on the camera tv as I paced around the bathroom.

After some online research, I found Chad Wilson at Flex One Fitness. He got me in for a consult right away and we got to work. He is very attentive and listened to my goals, etc. I went twice a week for 30 minutes, and supplemented our sessions with extracurriculars per Chad's advice. We also discussed nutrition and dieting. I was already pretty athletic, but I told Chad that my primary fitness goal was to reduce my body fat % to ~12-13, which is typically pretty challenging. With that in mind, my results were as follows. Baseline BF% 18.6. In just over 2 months of working with Chad, I was down to 11%! Of course I was very happy with my body and results. My running and out-of-gym activities were markedly improved by my leaner physique and it even inspired my wife and some of my friends to seek out personal trainers. I don't care about my weight as an independent data point, but I can offer that I started at 209lbs and finished at 188, which I might call my ideal body weight. I bought all new clothes, felt great, etc. All the cliches that accompany lifestyle change. I moved away (we're travel nurses so we typically move every 3-4 months), and thusly stopped working with Chad, but for anyone in the North Tampa/Tritnity/NPR area I highly recommend seeking Chad out at Flex One. Knowledgeable, fun, and professional. Thanks Chad!

As a 40yo busy mom of 3 I'm ashamed to admit I had never gone to the gym and was a total marshmallow of a beginner. The first few days were fantastically horrible-- I was sore all over and couldn't even lift my arms to brush my teeth. But we kept going 3-4 times a week, and after a while I kinda got the hang of it. I could feel myself getting stronger as the weeks passed, which was super exciting. Something I especially loved was using their fitness app, which you get access to as a member. Even if you don't want to do extra workout at home or don't have the time, it's still helpful in getting you acquainted at least with how things are done. F45 really means business and will push you to make the most of the 45 minutes you're there. Each session is new so it's never boring. MWF are cardio days, TTH are strength days, SS are a hybrid-- and they're all a killer (in a good way)!! Most of the regulars taking the same classes have been there for a long time, as evidenced by their killer bods and the heavy weights they could lift. I've felt like the weakest member the whole time we were there but I knew that if I had stuck with it I was on my way to becoming really fit as well. Quite funny that I absolutely dreaded showing up Every.Single.Time. But I've always felt AMAZING after each workout, knowing that I had just done something good for myself and that I never would've gotten the same level of workout by going to a regular gym. For me, it helped a lot doing it with a friend, as my accountability partner. The coaches I've had (Amber, Jeannie, Jake, Christine-- there are several more but these 4 were the ones who were always there at the time slots we signed up for) were always so friendly and helpful in making sure I was doing the exercises correctly. And of course, the owner, Lili, is the nicest! She's just such an inspiration and was so accommodating-- she even set up a meeting with us to give us some useful information about proper diet and healthy lifestyle. Overall, I've had a great experience at F45 and will recommend it to anyone looking to find a fitness place or community that will positively change your life and how you look at your health.

When COVID hit, I worked out at my home gym in my six-car garage. Prior to this throughout the last 20+ years in NPR, I worked out at the old Gold's Gym on US 19 then to YMCA in Trinity then to Family Fitness on Little Road (which is now a Powerhouse Gym) and this one on US 19. I recently returned to this location after losing 18 pounds :) This location is convenient. Never had a problem or issue with the people at the front desk at this location or with other gym members. (I also maintain my yearly gym membership with LA Fitness but there aren't any locations close by.) I was going to try Crunch Fitness but it is way too crowded for my liking. I used to be a member at Planet Fitness but it is too far from my house. I did not return to YMCA in Trinity because it's become very very crowded. I could barely get a good workout at YMCA... so I left. If you are serious about working out, try out this gym. They do offer paper towels and disinfectant spray for those of us who wipe down the equipment. (There is one near the stretching area closest to the front desk, another one behind the treadmills, and one near the cardio equipment infront of the mirror.) It is not as updated or fancy as other gyms, the bathrooms are not perfect, and the parking lot surface could use some improvements but I love working out here. Whether young or old like me, people here are serious about their workouts. When I workout here, it is never too crowded. (I cannot afford to get sick.) I never have to wait too long for a machine, free weights, bench, or the squat rack. *** I tried to take pics of the interior of the gym. Incognito. Hope this helps somebody lol Oh the link on their website for a free 10-day pass does not work. Do not let it deter you. Either call them or walk in to speak to them. They have been nice to me. They offer one-month memberships if you want to try it out before committing or if you are visiting the area and want a place to workout. TLDR: If you like your space and want to get a good workout in with free weights, machines, and/or cardio machines, this is the place. (They also offer group exercise classes.) I like getting my second cardio session of the day on one of the cardio machines plus lift weights. People do not stare at you and the staff members don't push personal training on me which adds 1 star to their rating. No one bothers me. I love it!
