I did what was considered the hardest class and after my ankle was swollen and my back felt like someone kicked me in it, not to say it's there fault but I would have loved to do the 15 minute sit down first and then be able to pick a class based on my abilities, I really wanted to have a smaller support group to get on track but This definitely discouraged me from coming back and now I'm spending my vacation in the bed due to the pain. I would definitely say walk in and speak with them first so that you are not in the position I was in.

This gym is in a great location right off Rand rd in a plaza with Cosco right next door. The gym is structured around strength, HIIT(high intensity), metabolic training, and Tabata. The workouts are only 45 mins long but because of the intensity you continue to burn calories for up to 48hrs after the workout. The gym is a good size and has a ton of equipment like battle ropes, dumb bells, kettle bells, med balls, and much more. You will leave this place feeling like you really did something. The weekly workout schedule is posted every Sunday and there are 7 different camp times each day except Saturdays there are 2 morning camps and then Sundays are closed. The gym has free childcare for all you parents that are looking for a great workout. Alex will give you one on one assessments where you talk about your goals, meal plans, and track your progress. Overall an amazing gym that is nationwide so you can visit other burns if you travel. Alex is an awesome trainer and you will be hooked to the burn you receive from these quick workouts! Check it out!

I am writing this review after making multiple attempts to settle business with this gym…read more I initially put my membership on hold due to a knee injury I obtained at Burn Boot camp. Anne asked me how long I would like the hold for an I initially agreed to a month to see where things were. Upon further discussion in the future, she agreed to restart the remainder of my 18 month contract if I met with a trainer at Burn. I fulfilled that agreement. Now they are threatening to send me to collections if I do not pay for the previous 2 months, March and April. It is now May. I will not be retuning to the gym as what has previously been verbally agreed upon has not been fulfilled. In addition, I would have met with a trainer much sooner but as you will learn as a member, nobody ever answers the phone. I have attached evidence of our agreement on my membership resumption date. Clearly there is a lack of communication. When I did get in touch with the owner to clarify why I am being threatened to be turned over to collections, she clearly did not remember she committed to this agreement in an email.

I had a hard time sticking to a fitness routine in the past, but Burn has kept me engaged and motivated to come back time and again! I only dropped in for 1 class, as I don't live in the area (out of state), but if I did, I would definitely join. There seems to be a nice variety of classes offered and I can imagine they are all quite challenging and offer a great total body workout. I tried the Metabolic Circuit class and it definitely kicked my butt. The class focused on a combination of several exercises, each done for 30-seconds with a 20-second recovery in between where you move on to the next exercise in the rotation. Some of the exercises included in the class I took were skull crushers, burpees & pull-ups, weighted squat, bus drivers, TRX push-up to plank, kettlebell snatches, and a shuffle with ball slam. All of which were killer and worked out my entire body. The class began with a short warm-up, followed by 3 complete rounds of each exercise in the circuit. We finished out the class with a 5-minute challenge which included kettlebell swings, air squats, push-ups, bent over rows and sit-ups. AMRAP within 5 minutes. And of course some post-class stretching. Bill is the main trainer. He is very friendly and has great energy. Bill added some humor here & there throughout the class here to keep everyone smiling. He consistently checked in on me during the workout to make sure I was using proper technique for each exercise and helped make adjustments to my form as needed. There were two other trainers on-site as well during the workout encouraging participants and helping with form adjustments to keep everyone safe. Side note: they also offer post-workout nutrition (bars and fresh smoothies), and massage as well. **Didn't snap any pictures as I was pressed for time, and also too busy getting my butt kicked. But Bill snapped some pics and made them into a collage he posted on his Instagram, so I will save and share that one.**

ForwardFit offers a variety of classes, ranging from fitness boxing, tabata (HIIT), core strength, metabolic circuit training, power pump, trx, yoga (from my understanding, they switch up classes and add new ones). The trainers mix-up the workouts every week and it makes every day coming to class exciting and something to look forward to every evening & Saturday mornings. You'll find people of different ages, weights, goals, performances but one's thing for sure--no one walks out challenged. It's been about a month since I signed-up and I'm really glad I did my research and chose ForwardFit. Initially, I had my hesitations since I wasn't in the best shape and I wasn't on some work-out routine before joining. I feared judgement and even more of a lack of self-esteem. Since Day 1, those hesitations and fears are long gone. There's a community at ForwardFit who will welcome you with open arms and push you to be the best version of yourself. Because of the awesome workouts and encouragement, I see results! It's been exciting to constantly challenge my body and mind and I'm so proud to be a member of this facility.

It's personal training in a small group setting. The workout changes every day so over the course of a week, even if you don't go every day, you work your entire body. Some days are strength training, some are cardio, some are both! I typically burn 300-400 calories - and the workouts are only 45 minutes long - including warm up and cool down. You can't get more efficient than that. The trainer, Grant, will help you modify any exercise to your fitness level. The equipment is state of the art and very clean. They offer FREE CHILDCARE, which is a massive benefit. My kids beg to come with me to Burn because the play room is so much fun, full of (very clean!) toys, arts & crafts and very warm and loving childcare workers. I've been bringing my youngest since she was a baby and I've always felt comfortable with the care provided. A bonus is that you can peek in on the kids through a window throughout your workout, which is great for peace of mind. I had no expectations when I joined Burn 2 years ago. To say it's changed my life is an understatement. I've dropped pounds, inches, and lowered my percentage of body fat. I have more energy than ever, a better attitude and I've made some pretty fantastic friends along the way.

I tried the free trials at 3 other local gyms that were comparable to Burn. In the end I chose Burn for the the childcare aspect, the community and the classes. Child care is huge for me because of my smaller Children. The community is great. The culture is uplifting and welcoming. The owner Robyn goes out of her way to make everyone that walks through the door feels welcomed and informed. Grant and Diane follow suit. They train and encourage all members. There are other trainers but I have not worked with them. But from what I know of the culture I'm sure they have that same welcoming and encouraging strength. The classes have different levels of difficulty and can be modified for any type of comfort level. Amy and Jackie are usually at the front desk checking people in and welcoming everyone. They have taken the time to know my kids names and also welcome them when they walk through the door. Truly this place is such a great place for everyone. There is also a sit down consultation to find where you can improve on your eating and see results of the progress you're making. I do not take as much advantage of this but I probably should. I'm not ready to give up my food but I can say I feel stronger and there has been a change to my body. I will recommend Burn to everyone I know. If you're on the fence I say jump. You will not regret it.
