He felt that because his client was paying for his time that his money meant more than mine as a paying customer for almost 20 years. It's a fairly small place, but it's got what I need: treadmills, bikes and elliptical trainers, and a nice selection of weight machines and free weights. Daily classes for those who want them, along with a tanning room and individual showers/changing rooms. Dan and Gisela, the owners, are there daily, they'll greet you when you walk in, and they work hard to keep the place nice. I see a lot of the same people there from day to day, and it's a nice change from the slightly cheesy meat-market atmosphere I've encountered at some other gyms other the years. Like I said, no BS here -- just the stuff you need to stay fit, in a safe, clean, welcoming environment. One last comment: I usually visit in the mornings, and there is never a crowd or a problem accessing equipment, even when school is in. It's a bit more crowded in the evenings, but I have never waited more than a couple of minutes for a treadmill. There's 24 hour access by key card, too. If you need a pool, a sauna, a country-club locker room, or some exotic piece of high-tech fitness machinery, this isn't the place. Otherwise, give it a try!
