The gym is super clean, has lots of parking, a small sauna, and extremely helpful and knowledgeable owners who are also certified personal trainers. Going there feels like family. The monthly fee is very good value if you care about cleanliness, awesome equipment, a super friendly atmosphere, generous opening hours and an overall great experience.

The fitness facility has gone under renovations previously so that's why I chose this community centre over the other dated locations. All of the equipment is pretty new and there's a variety of cardio machines, free weights, and resistance machines. I would assume that the facility would be more crowded during rush hours but luckily I usually go during the afternoons. They also have a group fitness room and several squash courts below. I definitely have to say that River Grove offers much more for a cheaper price than Anytime Fitness. Another plus is that they have several membership options if you can't commit to a year. The con so far is the uncleanliness of the change room. So far I'm liking this fitness centre for the price I am paying.

One for cardio, which is full of treadmills, elliptical, biking station, and stair master. TVs are station in front so you can keep yourself occupied if you didn't bring your own music. Two is the lifting area. There's squat racks and plenty of room for barbell exercises. There's a number of workout benches for dumbbell workout routines. Problem is that after dinner on a weekday, this place is full. High school and university swarm this place around 8:00pm to 10pm, so avoid it if you can otherwise you'll be waiting forever. Three is the class area. They have yoga and step class here. I've attended the step class twice before and it is intense. This location has a lot of other things to offer, such as a swimming pool and classes. You'll have to look it up ahead of time and register. I don't see myself going to another gym any time soon.

Not to mention the amenities are really nice, they have locking private showers, private sauna rooms, a Nespresso machine for guests, and a posing room. Dumbbells go up to 100lb. Featured equipment brands include Pure, Rogue, Gymleco, Newtech, Panatta, Nautilus, & more. This is a great option for those who take strength training seriously. I got a chance to speak with the owner and he was super friendly and enthusiastic about what they have to offer. Would love to see more functional fitness equipment to compliment the sled and resistance bands they already have. There is a poster up front that states there's equipment still on the way so I'm excited to see everything come together within the next few weeks!

They overcharged me more than $200 when they continued charging me an already outrageous monthly fee after I cancelled the membership. I called the General Manager to cancel when I left the country and joined LA Fitness in Naples, Florida. I called the GM to cancel the Goodlife Fitness membership I had just put on hold a week or so before. The General Manager subsequently moved to Florida and must not have cancelled it. They continued charging me after I had left the country. Despite providing evidence of the new membership at LA Fitness which started just after I put the Goodlife member ship on hold, they will not do a thing to reimburse me all the extra charges they levied. They won't even contact their old General Manager who knows I cancelled it. This is incompetence and/or fraud.

I have my girls every other week and my ex won't take them so I had a chat with Sunsei he was nice enough to accommodate my schedule and work out an affordable payment plan. The centre is clean and small. The other 3 teachers on staff are really great as well. I see kids that are rowdy and think they can get their way at home can do the same at the Centre. The teacher don't take BS from the students which I love. They teach them discipline and respect. I see a significant improvement in my girls. They went from being shy and intimidated to performing in front of the teachers, students and parents to get their colour belt grading. I want my girls to continue and get their black belt at 18. Because they're girls I appreciate that they're learning self defence to protect themselves. Not just do they learn the sets of martial arts moves but the class teaches them self defence. They practice if someone were to attack them what they should do. Overall I'm pleased with this Martial Arts Centre. Sunsei and his staff wants what's best for the students and it shows.
